wow just saw this and that is truely astronimical pricing! Was going to go for one of these however now that the price is like this and at this time of year no way. If they released in Jan and a little cheaper then would go for it! I'm sure they will lower the price considering everyone on here is saying the price is way too high even with the reduction. I think this company selling through Plain was a little too greedy!

I will now wait for the UK steelbook releases even though they wont have the nice lenti or slips (n)

Were there talks of a UK steelbook of this?
Because if UK is definitely releasing this, I might as well cancel my order here and save a lot of $ lol

It's not 100% a UK release but possible as it was in a recent poll done on HDN Planet Earth was one of the titles asked for a lot by members
So far from this poll a UK release Sherlock TV Series has happened which was also a title requested a lot in the poll

It might happen or not for the UK just a matter of waiting to see if it does

As soon as I realised I have to pay for so many other steelbooks (Ant Man, Looper, MI5, Terminators etc)

I too have just sent in a cancellation request.

Now that i'm thinking straight the price is way too high for 1 copy of a film. The price of this one documentary from Plain Archive will cover my bells & whistles editions of Looper, MI5 and one other FilmArena purchase.

Came to my senses and the did the same lol
The next PA releases alongside the upcoming Nova and Kimchis are more important to me right now.

Hopefully this steel ends up in the UK or something at a decent price, otherwise i'll just pick up the decent US release.

I wasn't aware of any recent polls. Are you sure this is one of the titles that made it! I just cannot believe that this documentary title was asked for, and not a classic title like Freejack. That's my personal nomination for the next HDN poll. No steels yet for Freejack, and it's a great classic makes it the next logical choice.

There was a poll covering only BBC TV series Drama/Documentary/Science Fiction/Comedy and all other BBC TV series like Sherlock/Dr Who etc
The Poll was only about BBC TV series Steelbooks and is now closed

think its great something different like Planet Earth got made into a steelbook. Shame its at such a crazy price, even I won't pay that for it!

Steelbook looks great
The Full slip and lenti look amazing but not paying $204.98 USD for the 2 versions

In my opinion they will struggle to sell these the way they are priced and will most likely have them in stock for a very long time unless they drop the price a lot

I could convince myself to save up and get in a few months but out of principle I won't pay at these prices
It's only a steelbook not a gold plated watch

I wish we could see actual pictures of the slips. I'm very curious about the effect on the full slip. I still don't know what would get me to buy this at that price though, I especially don't like that the discs have to stack inside the steelbook. That seems tacky to me with something of this price and quality.

You rather have a Jumbo?
