Agreed because except for few people no one knows what Steelbooks are but the excel store in eBay is pretty darn good as they sent me a replacement copy and came in person to pick up the damaged Steelbook as the company had a branch operating in my hometown. This may sound weird to people living in developed countries but this is 100% the truth.

I can second that. When I ordered avatar from them. I had received steelbook with spine cracked. They sent a guy from their office to personally collect the damaged steelbook. I too was surprised. I asked the guy how come you personally come for pick up, and he told that He was working at local excel branch, so He got instruction to pick this up. And indeed I was not the only one, he was gonna visit some another customer too who had received some wrong item.
Moreover their follow up in entire situation was lighting fast. So finally I received another copy, perfect in condition. And I left a nice feedback denoting "you just earned one permanent customer".

Excel steel I recd earlier in the week was pretty much perfect in all respects. This (and Terminator) had battered shrink wraps. I know that calling up the retailer isn't going to be of much help as they will not understand the fuss about shrink wrap at all, so not going to bother.
The steels themselves are pristine from what I can tell, so I ain't unhappy, but for anyone outside looking for an Indian steelbook, this is bad news if they don't intend to open them. I'm hoping that the new releases (Life of Pi and Hobbit) won't have the shrink wrap problem seeing as these will be 'new', but who knows!?

You mean with the stickers as the steelbooks are identical.

Whilst you are right about the image, the actual print quality on this steel is superb.. It also feels weighty too :)

I own 12 copies of this steel and I feel the Asian releases are of far superior quality.

The French and German versions also have different images and the Aus Viva feels different too.

Each to their own tho.. I know I'm mental lol

Just telling you how I feel it is.. I can weigh them if required :hilarious:

The print quality is very noticeable, the identical Euro copies.. UK, Sweden, Norway etc are of the same print quality but the TW, KR, TH and IND are of noticeably better print quality.

I understand what you are saying about the images being identical but I think the build and print quality differs!
