Rare Exports (Blu-ray SteelBook) [Germany]

I dont understand. It has german and finnish audio tracks and the subs are german and dutch, with the screen menu in ENGLISH!!! :wtf:!!

Yes, it's not totally uncommon unfortunately. To add languages for subs or dubs is costly (the menus are cheaper). I import quite a bit, and I've seen a few films, that are not originally made in the USA, etc,and they choose the language options for the markets they target after release. But others do have English options-it depends. However, what is a little weird is that the film was released in the USA (IMDB shows a theater total), so it seems to make sense that they would have added an English option. Maybe they just thought there was not "enough" interest based on the theater totals, to warrant an English language track/subs. Not sure...

LOL, I don't know, but movie budgets, especially for indie films have a way of dictating what's included:( Cool Steelbook cover, though, I may end up getting it and watch in German:)

I'll probably get it and swap out the discs - looking forward to this one.

you just gave me a good idea.

i will buy the bluray steelbook. it will have 1 disc. i will then swap the plastic inlay with a 2 disc inlay for the steelbook. i will then buy the uk version on bluray and place that disc in with my new 2 disc space bluray steelbook.

this means i will have an ultimate 2 disc steelbook. german disc and uk disc.

score!!

sorry but Im lost!!!

it is english sub's or dubbed in english? or part of the movie is english?

i am skeptical I purchased "strom warriors only to find out it has no english sub's or any dub...I was very disappointed especially since I spent $50 for it...:(

sxs-yes, it's always better to ask in the thread for the Steelbook before buying. Included languages vary with imports:(
