Not a bad film, but not great  Typical washed-up action movie star film if you ask me:spoil:

Very few films are cinema perfection. This is one of them. From the opening theme to that ending, it's grade A entertainment from beginning to end......
I never ever dipped my toes in the ocean ever again after this and no other film can claim to have had any effect on me like that. ....

You can argue to doomsday who was the Best Bond but this Bond epic is easily a contender for best Bond ever made. Great story, great cast, great villain, great female co-star, astonishing stunts.
From that jaw dropping opening on the mountain, the film like the song boasts "None does it better" and for once that's no idle boast. I was lucky to see this in the cinema when it came out and I still remember the gasps of the audience from that 1st jump and the decades haven't diminished it's power.... Hands up who didn't want that Lotus ............

A Charming fantasy in which a witch and his dad are released from a curse in modern day America (1942) and try to get revenge on the descendant of the man who put her there. But thing don't quite go to plan.. Veronica lake was never better and it's a shame she died so young...... Everything from Bewitched to Sabrina the Teenage Witch owes it's origins to this one film........

Men in Black: International - 4/10

The chemistry is kind of there, but makes you miss the way Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones complimented each other perfectly. Plods along for a good 90 minutes and then massively rushes the finale.

Makes you wonder what could have been RE: the 21 Jump Street crossover.

Had seen this at a Premiere but was far too pissed to really watch it :oohyeah::whistle: Watched it with the family again tonight and to be honest it wasn't a film that the kids seemed to be interested in going to see:rolleyes: WOW how wrong could we have been, it was fantastic, easily the best superhero film I've seen for a few years and YES I've seen Endgame:D.

Shazam was fresh, funny and on the edge at times :naughty: Well done DC, for me, this overtook Endgame as it was the anticipation that made you want to see it and kept you there waiting till the end of Endgame and let's be fair it was good, but not great.

This was great and certainly can't wait for news of the next. As id said before and will say it again. WELL DONE DC:notworthy::notworthy:

Thoroughly enjoyed this :thanks: I think I liked this more than Homecoming
Point deducted as I thought they watered down Mysterio's character from what I was expecting from the comics.
Would have liked to have seen him made actual use of the Mysterio suit.
Felt like how Marvel previously dumbed down the whole Mandarin character, they did so again with Mysterio
There are 2 end credit scenes - make sure you stay for both. They are not trivial extras like some of those in past movies.
1st end credit scene leaves one hell of a cliffhanger for the next Spidey movie !
2nd end credit scene - possible interesting setup for the next Capt. Marvel movie ?
