Just been chatting to Elliot Cardona (the guy who designed the artwork) and he confirmed that this has "a matte finish with a Pantone red and embossed lettering." Shame it's not gloss, but I can live with it being matte because I like the artwork so much. Can't wait for this one!

I just bought the awesome looking lenticular slipcover with red amaray case today for only £12.99 (£10.83 after VAT removal). I like that artwork better than this plain red steelbook with no characters at all.

this cant be true because i just tried going to submit order and it reduced my total to 127, which is now 126 after my order

strange. I tried it again and was able to get to that same screen with all 999. The total was £18,181.80.

Then I closed the browser and tried again, and it changed available to 124, so I guess my first couple tries were just a glitch or something.

At any rate... nice red color. Nice disc art. That's about it in my opinion. I think the front is lacking and there's too much empty red space. And the back is "just ok". With the price up to £21.84 (£18.20 for me)... it just seems like too much when the lenticular slip can be had for about half that.

you have to deal with the ratings logo on the slip, a major con when comparing both IMO

well.. to be fair... the ratings logos are on the "slip" of the steel too, so how is it different.

Wasn't keen when I first saw the art on here, but now it's unwrapped in hand I love it. One of my favourite steels so far.
But it's all subjective isn't it?

I liked the film in the cinema but I don't see myself watching it enough to justify buying it. I do like the steel but trying to save a bit of money!
