Thanks for the tag my friend @Hatori

Box looks a beauty but I am more than happy with my beautiful Play.com £10.99 steel for this....:naughty::rofl::rofl: Maybe I could just buy the box and put my Play steel inside...:naughty:

Plus HDzeta's lenticulars are not great...IMO Pass on this release for me...;)

Am I the only one who finds the previous page freezes when I try to load it up to see the pics????

Nope man. This thread wrecks my phone lol.

I think the pet slip is more fitting for the movie. The cards are cool in the pet slip as well. The lenticular seems unnecessary imo. But it has a booklet, I feel this type of movie needs a class full slip...oh well.

Is the 1/4 nothing special? Not sure what edition to get...none of them jumps at me saying pick me!! But the steelbook itself is beautiful..

I think the PET slip is the way to go on this one.

Personally, I agree. It's funny how you might expect one thing and it shows up as something else entirely. While it was probably silly to expect the ammo box to be metal, I did think a more rugged looking container would be used. After all, the French hobbit release used wood and glass to contain the journal and movie set.

So while I bought Steel Battlion for Xbox back in the day, and the huge cardboard box was kinda cool, as you opened and assembled everything, this is just a bit too similar to other big box sets like the original Battlestar Galactica, where it makes a statement... But isn't exactly what I was hoping for.

My apologies to the OP, HD, and anyone else who loves the ammo box. I don't mean to offend. But it's still Pet slip for me if I can get in on one. It's definitely my favorite.

After looking at the pics, I'm leaning toward the lenticular only. Something about the floating heads on the PET doesn't feel right. But that ammo box looks so freakin epic!

I am waiting on the final prices before I make my decision. I am leaning towards the Ammo box, but not sure as have to save funds for other great HDZeta releases coming out soon

In for the Ammo Box, though it's my daughters first birthday on the 1st so I hope there's still room for me in the GB on the 2nd....

Sorry if this has been answered already but will there be a tripack? I can't decide between the three versions.

I think I was holding the ammo box too high with expectation. I think I'm just going with the PET slip now. I may have expected more because of how was the Gladiator tri pack was.

I expected that the ammo box would be made of real metal, like the korean ultimate dvd box of Old Boy. But i'm still happy with this.

who remembers this collateral damage edition, from germany :

Yeah, I was expecting something like that. I also wish the dog tag was an actual dog tag of John Ryan, or any of the other characters, not of the movie title. Having the different dog tags would be cool, to trade for your fav ones, or try and collect each one. Oh well, you can just get them made at any surplus store anyway, but thought it would be cool.
