As great as PRIVATE RYAN is, I still think BAND OF BROTHERS is the last word on WWII.
They had more time to really get you there. I'm sure executive producer Tom Hanks might agree.
Of course, RYAN is still awesome, and I will have it!! (If they could only fix that bit at the end where Matt Damon is in the movie....).
