Just my 2 cents

This thread pretty much shows exactly what is wrong with steelbook collecting and why almost all the fun has been taken out of it.... NOBODY knows anything yet, nobody knows what movie/artwork etc. but we have several pages of people trying to justify why "they should be entitled" to one. You see all these guys with 20-30 posts claiming that are reading nothing but HDN all day and are steelbook junkies from the bottom of their heart. I'm sure plenty of people will become members on here just for this or premium members to increase their chances of getting one (nice side effect for the site I guess), but this really just makes me kinda sad.

This HDN exclusive should have been released under the radar, given at cost to the members with the highest post-counts or the longest history on here who are less likely to put it on ebay the next day or folks who helped the most other members here with GB's or something.

you complain about people claiming their entitlement to this...then you say who you think should get it :hilarious: sneaky :naughty:

I'd suggest that if you wanted a 'fair' way to allocate steelbooks for this amazing HDN Exclusive then how about everyone buys a lottery ticket at say $5-10 and the proceeds go to charity?

You'd still have to pay for your steel, postage, etc if you were one of the lucky ones.

That said, this is all in hand and people just need some patience as all will be revealed by Wreck and the team very soon :)

But then new genuine collectors like myself would miss out with this policy. I for one wish to claim my hands on one not for profit as i open on my steels to fully enjoy them....if if film is good then its a bonus.
