Blufans we paid via a GB so it was not direct, same as FAC. That's totally different as we cannot complain to a GB host if it's delayed. They are not the retailer.

With FAC you can order direct but not 3 months payment in advance.

I've been critical over Blufans in the past that's why I've limited my participation in GBs with them.
EverythingBlu yes are a retailer but a new to doing exclusives they only had one previous release and that was Arrow Video release with a Exclusive Fullslip so it was not the same type of release in comparison.

As they do more releases they will get better in terms of release dates it's a small setup in terms of staff
It's different with likes of Amazon and Hmv and Zavvi that have thousands of regular orders each week and large amount of staff compared to a small retailer setup

I order with some retailers that have been in business for years for various products and they still take payment when your order and release date is months away I had some that was 6 months after payment was taken and often forgot I ordered on some releases

Release dates can change for a number of reasons it's their first release give them some space you getting an amazing release and you will be very happy when you get delivery.

Sicario Hardbox springs to mind. Went on sale same day as single versions, money paid straight away. Was released 2 months 19 days after the single versions. So at least 3 months in advance for payment before goods available for dispatch.

You will always get the odd one or two that are going to slip through. I have no idea about this release as I didn't order it. Did you order direct?

Well I do not support any retailer that releases goods six months after payment is taken. If you support them that's your decision. For me, no chance

OK lets look a the Terminator Genysis Maniacs Box GB here on HDN. Items paid for in Oct/Nov 2015 goods started being shipped in June 2016. So I guess you don't support FA then.

Yes I ordered direct and by release #35 I think FA should have gotten their act together for release dates. This is EBs first release and you don't want to give them any slack whatsoever. But anyways each to their own and you can buy from whichever retailer you wish. Personally I don't mind the delay as I'm hoping that this will be a fantastic release. (unlike the Sicario box from FA, was delayed for ages and was still shite. IMHO)

If you read my response to Paul I stated that there is difference between ordering from a GB and ordering Direct. GB host organise the GB's. If FA sold this direct online in Oct/Nov 15 and shipped June 16 of course I'm not going to support them if I paid direct as that's a huge delay. But I assume this wasn't available for pre-order direct payment in Oct/Nov 15? As a GB it's different, you paid up the GB host and there was a delay by the retailer.

  • I have given constructive feedback.
  • They debited near 3 - 4 months ago when pre-order went live.
  • First delay I did not complain. I gave them 'slack'.
  • Second delay I feel it is appropriate to voice my opinion as I have given them 'slack' when it was delayed first time.
  • I understand this is EB first exclusive so I have given slack the first time round.
  • Constructive criticism comes second delay.
  • Feedback is important for retailers. A good retailer will always listen to suggestions and improvements on how their services can be improved and I am sure EB has noted this down for their future projects.
  • No one is disputing this would not be a 'fantastic release'. The feedback is for how EB can improve on their logistics and organisational side of things which EB has stated the reason for the delay, improve on their efficiency on their logistics, and to stick with deadlines when it was already delayed once, and payment taken 3 months in advance. That's a large gap to pay for a pre-order and then release date + 2 delays.

Met Edgar at the Crown in Wells a few years back - shared a sambuca (well, didn't share one but you know what I mean). Anyways, been 24 hours since the delay was announced, might've been a bit facetious... just more dissapointment that anything. If it's to make sure the release is perfect... it is what it is.

Had the pleasure of being among the select few to be in all 3 parts of the Cornetto Trilogy, along with the "Don't!" trailer he did for Grindhouse.

He's a really cool guy. Laughs a bit like Hart Bochner in Die Hard.

So cool, and you even made it on to one of the posters (or it could of been your bro)

Who was you in the worlds end?

I know you was in shaun, fuzz and don't trailer but can't work out who you (or/ and your brother) are in the worlds end

There is no limit as to how many posts a member can make in one 24 hour period in one thread. Sorry, @candyman but this forum is opinion based and everybody and I mean everybody has a voice to be heard. If your unsatisfied with the subject you can always go into your setting and add that member to your ignore list. If it's a outright insulting or disrespectful please use the Report feature and we the mods/staff will look into it. Thanks for your understanding.

15 post in this thread within a 24 hour period is straight up concern trolling at this point. He gave his "opinion" multiple times already, we get it already. Time to keep it moving bruh !

Ooo-kay then

"I'm not your brah, bro"

If this doesn't sell out by the time pre-orders for Hot Fuzz start, it will actually justify the shipping cost to the US for both.

*crosses fingers*
