He used both of them in the movie. The 2nd picture of the gun has more to do with the movie. I am guessing they thought the bigger gun looks better on the cover.

Both guns are used in the movie. But note the background and if you have seen the movie, you will recognize the situations and know why they use/photoshop both guns.

The backgrounds reflect which gun was used where. Mountain background was him testing at his home and the city background is him at the assassination/double cross

I'm hoping that all of these Paramount Steelbooks will be the same as the previous UK ones like Thor, MI:4, Captain America etc.

Yeah hopefully. Certainly better than the German releases with no embossing and no artwork inside.

I think these (Shooter & SPR) will ship early so they are definitely with customers by the weekend. Mine has switched from Pre-Order to Order Placed like others.

As others have observed the cover is very appropriate with the change in the rifle and background.
