A new thread to let your hair down and show off your prized possessions you've collected over the years in Limited Edition Blu-Ray or DVD Sets-all collectors welcomed-'value' /'rarity' and 'meaning' are as individual as the collector of course. So if you love it, post it, regardless if your collection is big or small. Have a very expensive Limited Edition, or Rare Edition? Post a pic and let show your pride in your collection.

A few houserules to keep this fun and drama free:

This is primarily for Non-Steelbooks. Please do not post pictures with multiple copies of Limited editions of the same item to trade bait (Please see Trade Forum to buy/sell with members and for forum rules).

Out of respect to our members still searching for these at reasonable prices, this type of multi-qty pic causes unnecessary ranting and raving and can cause members to fall out. Unlike some other forums ours is moderated and run by actual collectors and movie fans. HDN works hard behind the scenes to create a friendly community of all types of movie enthusiasts. Those posts will be deleted-this is a fun 'show off' thread for your own personal collection.

I would love to find that or the Hogwarts Castle Dvd set, but I know the shipping price overseas would make it impossible. (Plus I'm sure that it would get brutalized in the shipping process)!
If it is as heavy as you say, the shipping must have been more than the box itself!!:LOL:
Very cool aquisition. I hope you had fun finding all the secrets hidden behind all the magnetic compartments!

The castle set looks beautiful, as does the elder wand set. I dont have those unfortunately!

Well the weight on the package said 8kg. It was pretty heavy! I bought it used as well and the ad said mint which it was. Very happy with it! And all the goodies that come with are awesome!

I did see the castle a few weeks back for $200 australian dollars on a pawn shop site. But it had some chips at the top. And there were no movies with it so i passed. If it was complete with no chips i would have jumped on it!

If you get a chance at the castle again, I would say to not sweat the movies being in there. You would probably want to put the blu ray editions in instead of the DVDs anyway, and they just go in the drawers!
But, yeah, if you are going to spend some dough - I would insist that the castle is in perfect shape.

I probably would have got it if the castle had been in great condition. They had close up photos of the chips and they were quite big. That definitely put me off. Though it did sell quite fast. Im fussy about that kind of thing though I like items to be near perfect. :)

Well yours is definitely one of the best collections ive seen. Mine is tiny compared to yours! People always enjoy looking at my stuff though so that's cool. lol
