Without seeing the full finish on C, I'd say A. However, I know that they'll probably do something great with it and I prefer the art, so I'd actually go for C.

It is pearl texture high-gloss paper & embossed title.

No idea what this is, but it makes me want it even more.

I assume "pearlescent" paper, rather than "pearl texture"? If so, then it'll have a kind of metallic sheen. And "embossed title" means the whole design isn't going to be embossed, but just the title?

I think A is the one to get, of these three--but I prefer the cards that come with B.

They told me it’s exactly the same finish as the keep case slip they released before (with the steel art as the full slip). Front and back title is embossed (not the skull)

Yeah, that finish is definitely the wrong choice for the yellow slip. It should be something low-key, like the matte finish you describe.

The yellow slip was the only version that even remotely appealed to me--now I'm not sure I want that one, either.

Ohh ok thanks! Yeah, it looks great on the keep case slip, but I can't imagine it'll look anything too special on the yellow slip... although I'll probably be proven wrong as usual lol.

Well incase there’s a problem in communication from them here are the 2 emails I got with that info confirming the finish. (don’t want to be held responsible for anyone not buying the slip because it’s the same finish as the keep case but turns out like the pics above )

From the last PA Scanavo editions that I bought, the one that impressed me the most was SOUTHPAW, been feeling underwhelmed by the others.

Looks like the same paper stock used for their recent Mommy release. It feels nice enough in hand and has a good metallic/pearl sheen to it. They didn’t bother to emboss that slip, though.

I’m hoping these impress, as I’m with @Actarus in not being blown over by their last few slips—Foxcatcher excluded.
