Hope I have this in the right place. I'd like to get some hard cases for my more valuable steels. They seem hard to get. A seller on Ebay Germany is selling them, but won't ship to Canada. but was unable to get any. Can anyone help?:(

Any idea of the difference between SC1 and SC2 on that site? I have read the descriptions, and aside from being worded differently, I can't find anything dissimilar.

Just put in another order of 50 SCF1 full slipcovers and 100 sleeves from steelbook central.
Very good quality items

SC1 are designed for unsealed steelbooks without card inserts.
SC2 These Slipcovers are an alternative to our open type side loading slipcovers and have been designed to fit an unsealed Steelbook perfectly without card inserts.

Pretty much the same as far as I can see!

I just asked SBC if they could get me 200 SC1 slipcovers but they replied that they only have 40 of these left (selling on ebay) and that their UK supplier for them unfortunately has gone out of business.

I prefer these side loading open ended SC1 slips over the side loading closed end SC2's - less hassle/quicker to assemble and do the job very well.

I'm gonna look around for another supplier that do these - they should be cheaper than the SC2 as well really as I should imagine they are simpler to manufacture and of course require less material.

I'm just getting the sc2/sc1 slips for my open steels, I have very few sealed steels but may get some closed steel shells to protect them or just be really careful not to damage the shrink wrap I guess - it's not like I play frisbee with them or anything :D

Update:

Just bought 20 - SCF1 Fully Closed Shells from Steelbook Central Ebay
(€ 30 including Shipment) Expensive, but if they fit nicely over Thor 2 and some
others that I have, I'm pleased. So we will see ;)

The SCF1 fits everything that I've thrown at it including the Korean The Wolverine with the comic.

Now we just need a jumbo version of the SCF1 sleeves!

I'm just decide to change from changing my steel book protector from sleeve in to hard case, but kindda worry that will they can damage my steel book? I have read that some got scratch from the hard case. Anyone got any experience that it can damage your stuff. Thank for the info :D

Does anyone know which full cover shells that fit blufans releases?
The SCF1 from Steelbook Central is too tight and won't fit :(

I don't think I've seen them brought up in this thread yet, but www.videogameboxprotectors.com sells fully enclosed PS3 cases that fit steelbooks perfectly. I placed an order for 10 just to see how well they worked, and I am pleased. Great option for those of us in the States. Save a lot on shipping compared to ordering from some places in Europe. At first I wasn't sure about the fully enclosed vs the spine open case, which I had been using, but I think after a couple days of looking at them I'm converted.

They do not fit sealed steelbooks with thicker cardboard slips or j cards like the Zavvi Disneys. But ones with thinner backings fit well. I tested on Wolverine and Man of Steel since I have yet to open either.

These looks fantastic Jondog21...I've ordered my first set of 10 from steelbook central about a month ago ($16+$12 shipping) and I love how they feel/look but shipping is a killer no doubt...I asked Naughtius if he wouldn't mind combining a group buy with some cases from steelbook central to save on shipping (and he did:thumbs:) but I will definitely bookmark this site and try them out when I run out.

They are made with the same material, PET, as steelbook central ones and that's awesome. Thanks!
