After all the hype I can't but feel disappointed by the overall design of the steelbook particularly the back cover. Even it gets embossed /debossed the design is just too bland. It would have to be a amazing lenticular slip for me to be interested in this. Even then I would probably use the slip with my french steel!

Same dude! The French art utterly destroys this. Really hoped this would be similar only with better finish "Glossy". Even a stunning slip won't make me change my mind. I'd rather have great art and finish than Emboss/Deboss.

Hope the UK will get a steel for this! Rather save my money for other Kimchi releases coming soon.

I'm joining this slightly disappointed band wagon...But my feeling is to look at the complete Kimchi package before deciding...

My initial reactions was this can't be right exterior artwork isn't up to much, not Kimchi's usual high standards it looks very bland. But with the embossed logo and a glossy finish I think this will look much better in the flesh than in the mock-up something akin to futureshop's The Lord of the Rings Trilogy which is highly underrated imo due to it being a jumbo.

But that Interior artwork! Not opened one of my Kimchi's yet but if I was lucky enough to snag one of these this would be top of my list to open.

I don't think every steelbook needs explosions of colours, wordart titles, fighting scenes, leading actors or Iron Man on the cover to look good
this is simple, neat and fits the color scheme of the movie (dark&dirty vs shiny white)

So getting this - the movie looks awesome. You say it will have Korean/English subs - will there be an English audio track? I would have assumed so as from the trailer it looked an English language film but as it's a Korean exclusive... Just want to make sure!

To each his own really but I do believe that many haven't had the chance to actually watch the movie and that's why they can't really relate the outside of the steelbook to what happens in the movie, that'll change once they do watch it

What I posted a few days ago, still stands: "the events are almost 95% inside the train itself with rare glimpses here and there outside so that artwork reflects the darkness and grittiness of the movie pretty well."

The movie is mostly in English, wouldn't make sense if there wasn't an English audio track.

Audio in the movie is mainly English but sometimes Korean actor/actress speak Korean. so you must turn on the English subtitle when you watch the movie.

After seeing the movie, I was stoked when I saw this artwork. The French steelbook is nice (I prefer the Italian), but after I saw the back artwork I was talking to another ninja about it and said I wanted a version with JUST an embossed Wilford symbol on the cover in the style of Green Hornet and Korea/Kimchi came through with this and I personally couldn't be MORE excited for it. I do love me a bright, vibrant, glossy steelbook, but I tend to prefer artwork that depicts the movie for what it is and I think this version does so to perfection!!!

EXACTLY! I feel the same way about the upcoming FS Lone Survivor. Despite the lack of debossing on the bullet holes, it's still a PERFECT representation of the film, JUST like this one is.
