If you are in it for the steelbook, go right ahead. If you havent seen the film, you might want to check it out first. I had high hopes for this one (film) and it had its moments, but still not enough for me.

Thanks teddy. This looks similar to the 47 Ronin TW Collector edition. Hopefully the SteelBook here is shrink-wrapped and/or protected by a full slipcover before being inserted into that full cover box :ohno:

I agree. If you like the steelbook and don't care about the movie (or saw it and liked it) - buy it.

I thought it was tedious.

Ebert's review was gushing, throwing around words like smart, compelling and thrilling, yet admitting ' You may recognize lots of inherent holes and flaws in its path...'

I thought the review that called it 'conceptually dense' was more appropriate. The disparity between rich and poor was as subtle as a brick, and it would work well as a mindless action movie if it didn't try so hard to be clever.

Will there be any version released with a slip of sort not in the collectors box by Kimchi?
I would personally like something to match the other Kimchi releases like a full or lenti ;)
This looks great though... :)

Thanks Choi & Teddy for pictures, think i'll be owner getting the lenticular slipcover as I enjoyed the film but not as much as i want to double dip.

Nice lenticular

Now lets see the full slip so we can decide which one to get ;)

well, keep in mind that this is a comicbook adaption, i dont see this movie try hard to be clever rather than just want to catch the atmosphere of the comics, the movie was very vague and subtile on some parts and let the viewer enough room to make his own interpretation but this is mainly a very straight forward action flick and was way more fast path and less clever moments as in the regisseurs other work, the korean monster movie "the host'.

This will be awesome. What's the chances that this will get English audio? I want to get the film and steelbook, especially kimchi one, would be bonus but I also see Italy & France are doing one (won't be as good) but with English audio.

As for steel, I'm hoping it gets Hunger games District 12 futureshop emboss effect on the front
