Maybe I'm misunderstanding but I thought Choi worked for Kimchi?
If so then I would expect the information he gives to be accurate, I don't think it should be so difficult to state before hand if a disc will be region free or not

I bought the Type A package so obviously dropped quite a lot of money on it.
Finding out afterwards that I won't be able to watch the actual film without a region free Blu-Ray player is clearly a big let down.
My point is if the correct information had been given, up front, then I would have passed on buying this.

Choi doesn't work for Kimchi

Yup, as Monkey2005 said, Choi doesn't work for Kimchi; so, people really need to stop blaming him.

We are so lucky to have Choi in the forum and helping us with all the questions and troubles we have. Plus dont forget he help us with some kimchi group buys like T2, and especially Frozen kimchi. Without Choi help and HDN staff, we would not even had a chance ordering Frozen from Kimchi.

A bit disappointed with Type A, as in my opinion the finish is not up to usual standard. Mine has ripples and creases in the cover paper. Am I being a bit picky and has anyone else noticed the same ?

My lenticular just arrived and I have to say I think this is the worst Kimchi Lenticular yet - Even worse than the MU atrocity !! Not sure if I just have a bad copy, but there is no lenticular movement at all. The images just blur together to make a mess

Possibly a printing error has caused all the confusion as the full slip shows 'All'.

Customs have got hold of my copy, two orders two charges.
I think I will be giving any future releases a miss from Kimchidvd, too expensive for the end result.

Just tried it on my Oppo and the disc from the box set will not play when set to region B.I do recall someone here opening the full slip version and claiming it played fine. One would assume that all of the discs should be identical,so I'm not sure why that member stated it played in their region B player.

Actually, somebody says that is accurate as they were able to play it in their region B player.

I have a region B Panasonic player and I have successfully played this disc. As one of the other members said if you press Top Menu while disc is loading then it takes you to the disc menu and you can play it without any problems. If this was truly region locked to A then you would get a screen on your player saying that the region code of the disc does not match the region code of the player. This screen does not appear at any stage. This disc appears to have some issues LOADING in region B players due to some issues in the authoring process.

Couldn't agree more...Received my copy just a couple of days ago and pretty disappointed. Cant say this is the worst since I don't own all kimchi lenti versions but it's up there.

As far as we know, there could be several members here who are the actual owners of several websites or retailers and wish to stay anonymous. That is their right to do so.Just imagine if one of them actually admitted their official involvement within one of these sites. They would never here the end of it.The constant bombardment from members here would be too overwhelming and non-stop.They could be harassed by unsatisfied members understandingly so.Just imagine if Clark Kent admitted he was actually Superman. That would be the end of it for Clarkie. No more free time. Not even for a second with no time to breathe...Let these anonymous members breathe a little.I'm not saying Choi is one of these members that has any official ties with any of these retailers. But to me,its irrelevant. The inside info provided here is priceless. We find out in this forum before anybody else out there. That is major and cannot be taken for granted.Everybody wants the info as soon as possible.Nobody has any patience at times. So as everyone knows, certain technical aspects of releases are changed or altered. So when this happens, everybody wants to put the blame on somebody.Someone has to be held accountable. We get the info fast and first, then if once or twice out of a hundred times, the specs are changed, then lets go for the kill.Just consider and put everything into consideration before going for an all out attack.Let Choi continue to do what he's been doing.

Can anyone with an opened fullslip take a nice, clear scan/photo of it for archival purposes? I'm trying to find an image with no sticker (on the shrink wrap) and that isn't at some odd angle cuz all we have is the small thumbnail picture of it in the OP.

Thanks!
