im glad it's only a concept
you didn't see the inside, now the full vision of my concept is completeim glad it's only a concept
The inside is by Alice Zhang. An incredible artist. back looks like her work too but I’m not 100% as she’d only previously done the jules art for PF. The front is by an artist called Vlad Rodriguez.I don't think it's wholly crappy. If it was pop art, absolutely. But this is more like actual art where someone took time to make something that mattered. My only issue with it is that Samuel Jackson looks like one of those wild west corpses propped up like in those old west washed out photo's. Travolta looks cool. As for the choice on the back, that's pretty cool. I love that character. But IMO the back should have been Bruce Willis and Marcellus.
Now back to your regularly scheduled thread.........
This heavily grunge brush style is becoming the Pop Art 2.0 i think after seeing the Godfather titles –which isn't bad. I just "personally" think the art direction for this steelbook is all over the place and if i have to take a guess, it was solely based on the designer's fave scenes in the movie.I don't think it's wholly crappy. Front artwork just gave me an impression that it could be a zombie movie with that Vincent look. Back art just want to be controversial. Inside is decent, but what's the point when the outside art isn't that impressive? When it comes to steelbook, I judge the "book" by it's cover lol
Anyway, I'm perfectly happy with the simplicity from the Nova release.
I am going with Pulp Fiction 4K
HDN Acquiring Cinemuseum
What’s the point in keeping it open for guesses and then locking it once revealed?
