Love 'B' cover. Makes no sense to have a variation on the same picture on the slip and steelbook.
Plus it's a cool,classy slip!
They must have made a mistake on their site, though...
All their steelbooks are listed at $11.11!!!
That can't be right!

If cover B the only one choice I will pass this release :stop:
I don't feel the movie atmosphere with this cover. That is my opinion.

Nice! Making it that much easier for those of us who enjoy cover B to get theirs.

I was going through my phone, and I have that poster artwork saved to my camera roll from over 6 months ago. Absolutely loved it the first time I saw it.

Cover B is the final choice... Still hope they will do both cover tho:(

Great to see that you guys keep this thread up to date while my absence - thanks for that! :)
Both of you shared proper information about this release of course, so i will update the OP just in a sec. :thumbs:

I know that some of you might be disappointed by their choice - the poll has shown that both initial artworks were almost on par, which i didn't expect tbh.
BUT, even if you were disappointed because of the artwork choice, please be reminded that this is due to them even listening to us collectors at all - which is pretty sweet in my opinion.

However, i can't say if they will continue to do - or listen - to polls like this for future releases, but i i'm pretty sure they will. :)

Once again, thanks to everyone for casting your vote and all i can say right now is...
Good luck to everyone pre-ordering this item on their site, and please my dear Steelarchive-servers, please don't f*** it up!!! *fingerscrossed* :ohno::LOL:

@monsterzebra

Thanks for introducing them.

However, before pre-order time they should do their shopping cart right. Shipping costs are random and always exceed the steelbook price.

e.g. The Last Stand:
There is 1 item in your cart.
Total products (tax excl.) 4,95 €
Total shipping (tax excl.) 13,95 €
Total (tax excl.) 18,90 €

And I also do not understand how they cannot charge VAT:
"All prices are final excl. / Shipping. Due to the small business status. § 19, we charge no sales tax, and therefore have not made this."

Because if the shop goes well, they will definitively earn more than the tax allowance for small business status in Germany.

-> solved, shipping is automatically set to international and Germany can be selected in step 4.

Yep, just checked that by myself with a test-order.

There are different shipping options:

ID - Shipping -> Shipping option for FSK 18 titles; national & international;
This contains an ID-check that is necessary (at least within germany) to verify that the customer is old enough to buy these movies

DP - Option for WW Shipping -> Standard shipping for international customers only (probably Deutsche Post)

GLS / ONLY FOR GERMAN -> Standard shipping option for domestic shipping, available for german customers only

The only problem i've encountered so far was that when i had an FSK 18 title plus a non-FSK 18 one in my cart, the shipping costs of both options were summed up (13,95€ + 4,95€/9,95€) instead of using the more expensive option only.
I think this is not correct and should be revied by them, so i've already contacted them about it.. :)

Thanks for checking their site @Moony ! The more people try to order before this release, the more possible errors can be eliminated in advance. :thumbs:

@monsterzebra,
I ordered Transcendence...
And when you pay with Paypal it automatically starts your membership account! When I got sent back after pp I was in essence "signed in" with my name up top! Obviously there is no password yet. So when you try to sign in again you have to push the button that says 'reset password' and they send you an email...and in that way you're finishing off the membership. Kind of neat.
There were only two choices for international shipping based on weight. One was €9 Euros and change (for 1 K), and the other was a €19 Euros and change (for 2 K).

Yes, I thought I'd try their site before pre-order for Spring starts. Ordered Transcendence for €14.90, not a bad price.
It's a bit unusal to have the international shipping option first.

I also emailed them and had an answer right away.

The only negative so far- they don't give you an approximate delivery date on the receipt.

Hold on... so it created a user account for you through your PayPal-payment, which (obviously) did not have a password.
Then you tried to log in again and used the "reset password" option, which resultet in an e-mail to you.
What exactly happened then?! You've probably been provided with a link that you followed, and then your user account got deleted, or what do you mean with "that way you're finishing off the membership"? :dunno:

Your just completing adding a password to your steelarchive membership.
maybe I'm not explaining it well enough. It was very much like any other site sending you to PP and then coming back. It just happened to start the process with your name automatically.
Nothing hincky.
