My copy of this seems to have been lost in the post. Has anyone else copy not arrived yet.
If it has vanished for good does anyone have a copy for sale? Ideally 4k

Mine still has not arrived.

I live within walking distance of their main hub centre too, so have never had any arrival not arrive within a day or two.

Hopefully it arrives one day next week.

Nah, it'll just be that Zavvi either didn't get all of the stock in or (more likely) didn't have enough staff to get all of the pre-orders out on time. But their awul inventory system seems to mass mark pre-orders as dispatched even if not all of them have physically made it out yet. I'm sure they'll turn up, but I do not believe for a moment that mine was actually posted on the 16th like the email says.

Apparently you currently have to live in Germany to receive Zavvi deliveries early (sad times...).

After the writing Media Maniac had already received the US BestBuy Exclusive version before the one from came in, the following photos show a small comparison of the two editions between

"Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker 4K UHD Steelbook - Zavvi Exclusive (UK)"
and
"Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker 4K UHD Steelbook - BestBuy Exclusive (USA

......................................

Personal impressions:

While the Exclusive Edition from Zavvi is limited to the protagonists (both front and back) and the lettering in terms of the gloss finish, the BestBuy version is completely high-gloss.

In addition, the red of the Zavvi-Version in particular is much paler, but the picture as a whole appears a little finer. Overall, the Zavvi Edition has a more metallic appearance - with selected lighting, the shades of blue shine particularly fresh, so this Edition comes up with an interesting contrast between gloss and metal.

On the other hand the Bestbuy Edition has a both deeper and more saturated color grading and offers a homogeneous, elegant appearance due to the consistent gloss-finish.

Of course, and as always, this remains a question of personal taste.

As shown, the spine lettering clearly differs - as already described in previous articles from other Community members.

Welcome aboard! Great first post. Thanks for taking the time to share with us.

happy days. :) arrived (4K edition) and watched this immediately at the weekend. the 4K editions is particularly good picture quality, i thought. :wow: plenty of shots above - thanks to @f.m.s for the comparisons - but here's a few more from my edition. :Snap:

once you get it unwrapped, you can see the artwork better, plus here are the details of the j-card:
it's a sign of how WWAs have declined that the fact that this has reasonably well thought our wraparound artwork and an embossed title is worthy of praise. but it does, and it is.

the (UK) steel is not gloss, but spot in places, with that shimmer alternating metallic treatment effect beloved of so many releases currently. here's some shots of all of that and the embossing:
inside, all the disc art is different, the interior image a nice one:
it's a perfectly reasonable WWA to tide me over while we...(dun-dun-dahh!) await the premiums. anyway, for what it is, recommended.
