Not to be cynical or anything BUT....

They would not survive that encounter.

Which when you think about it.................................... Is pretty sad.

Also I doubt light sabres are powered by batteries so attacking the empire with toys would lower there odds.

Now yes this is a figment of their imagination so this shouldn't matter BUT they did put themselves in a pretty dire situation with zero hope of escaping which is worrying, and whilst it is good to have an imagination it didn't work out very well for Mr Crowe in a Beautiful mind did it.

Again not being cynical or anything.
