How is this still not sold out? :D
It's Star Wars for crying out loud. People would chew their limbs off to get this. I know a few die hard Star Wars fans who would give both arms and legs to Tennis Association of Bogota just so they can order this steelbook.

Everyone should just cancel their order and wait for a 50% price drop. It's inevitable, I think.

I suspect that, design-bashing aside, this is a) not going to be a small print run, b) Star Wars fans don't always equate to steelbook collectors and c) the Blu-ray amaray will be widely available in supermarkets. Also, we all know that Star Wars is a franchise that never really disappears; if you don't pick it up now, there'll be a re-release when Rogue One comes out, when Episode VIII comes out, etc, etc. The steelbook may eventually sell out, but with the design and price point, this may take a while.

Just watched an unboxing video of the Australian version, looks to be the same as the zavvi one.

Glad i cancelled tbh. Doesnt even look close to as good as the BB version.

I hope people stand by their principles and post the same comments in the Asian threads as well.

I'm putting my Canadian version in the gorgeous lenti and giving the **** version to a mate so will continue to bash this trash!

Because it's crap and they lost alot of orders through cancellations for people buying US/CAD versions or waiting for a slipped version to hide that atrocity

Yes, just seen that, and sound move by Zavvi to help shift some of these and I don't see other retailers in other territories putting together such promotions with this same steelbook . . .

Still, it's not for me, but if they went a step further and did the REBELS as a BOGOF then , yes, I would be in there - this and REBELS for 25 quid before discount code would be acceptable and certainly more acceptable than 35 - 50 quid for the U.S. / Canadian edition - notwithstanding the gloss finish, spine title and de-bossed title on the front and the fact that it matches better the previous 1 - 6 steelbooks from last year.
When I say "matches better" I'm not saying "matches well" because with no 'big-head' artwork on the front or film poster on the back or solid spine title lettering the match is NOT a great one . . . and, yes, I realise it's a Disney rather than a Fox product so no reason to expect or hope for artwork in the same style as #1-6.

Front reminds me of a Womble but the back looks good.
The finish spec for this steelbook - Looks to me like zero varnish finish on the front and matte varnish finish on the back.
Clever what they did with the 5 spine pictures re the light sabres, or whatever they are, having them joined end-to-end . . . but still (n)
