Funny you say that because I read most of that thread just a few days ago, LOL! It is nice they communicate that way, but lets face it, it isn't the same as back in the day with Dusty. I do like what Chronicle is doing, and if I collected Terminator stuff, I'd be all over their products!

It was probably a good thing in the end. Dealing with AD's are far easier than SS. Even the SS EX stuff I can get, so no reason to go through SS anymore.

BTW, you, and everyone else on the planet may know this already, but I literally just found out about the movie Suicide Squad coming next year. I immediately ran to my daughter (the Batman fan) and told her. She looked at me like, "Um, yeah, where the hell have you been?" LOL!

Hey its not Star Wars so I can accept that you must have been living under a rock LOL. I'm pretty stoked for the Suicide Squad movie. They put together a really awesome cast and its going to be the first time seeing a lot of these characters in a movie. It will also be the first time we get to see the Joker and Harley Quinn together in live action. It only took them 23 years LOL.

Hey its not Star Wars so I can accept that you must have been living under a rock LOL. I'm pretty stoked for the Suicide Squad movie. They put together a really awesome cast and its going to be the first time seeing a lot of these characters in a movie. It will also be the first time we get to see the Joker and Harley Quinn together in live action. It only took them 23 years LOL.

Really? I have zero interest in anything DC is doing movie wise. Didn't like Man of Steel and the pictures of Suicide Squad look awful. Unless I hear they are good, I will probably wait to rent. And this is coming from a guy who mainly reads DC comics and will probably go to Antman opening weekend. I'm just glad DC is keeping the tv shows seperate from the movies since I enjoy both Flash and Arrow.

Surprisingly I am looking forward to it. I think its mainly me just looking forward to yet another interpretation of the Joker. I've seen the pics of how he looks and yeah his outfit and tattoos look pretty bad, but I will at least give it a shot just to check out Leto's performance. But I'm still not really looking forward to BvS, but I think I will probably end up seeing it anyways just because of the hype. But if it ends up being exactly like MOS I think I'm going to have to be prepared to be let down for a very long time with DC movies until they at least get through their whole currently planned DCCU and then reboot the whole thing and hopefully make it a bit more comic booky and less bleak. But I know Lou really liked MOS so I'm pretty sure he will like where this franchise is heading. Different strokes for different folks. But one thing I'm really not liking is there are a lot of DC "fans" on DC forums and news sites that are so gung-ho on this current dark and bleak take that DC has been on that if anyone tries to comment with any type of different opinion they are almost immediately labeled as either a troll, a Marvel fanboy, or not a true DC fan. Its pretty ridiculous.

Plus the DC Animated movies are pretty solid. Oh well, we'll see what happens next year. I'm more excited for the new Star Wars movie than anything else. I also think Captain America: Civil War should be a good one. Will be cool to see some of the lesser characters get more screen time and I want to see more Scarlet Witch.

I am definitely looking forward to SW the most too. I have so much faith that I'm going to absolutely love it from what I've seen that I'm not even worried about it like I am with the DC stuff. And I hope I get proved wrong with the DC stuff too and it all ends up being awesome. But as far as Marvel goes I've gotta say I am definitely looking forward to CA: Civil War a lot too. I absolutely loved Avengers 2, Scarlet Witch and Vision were both really awesome and its good to know they'll be back.

Hey Lou, I tried your steak/asparagus recipe the other day. Couldn't find flank steak at the store so had to use a different kind. I overcooked it a little, otherwise it was yummy.

Did you see the new Hot Toys Luke they just put pictures up for? I think it looks amazing!

I don't think you are in the minority because I don't think there really is one. The fan reactions from MOS are pretty much split 50/50, half loving it, half hating it. I thought the actors were pretty good, and I really liked Michael Shannon's performance as Zod. I liked MOS quite a bit the first few times I saw it, but then it just kinda fizzled on me over this last year and I don't really like it that much anymore. That happens sometimes with me and movies. But I'm still going to give all of these movies a shot since I like the characters so much.

Luke looks great! I'm still a bit letdown on how Han turned out though. I still haven't pulled the trigger on any of these yet.

Maybe, but does XM even go to SDCC? The license doesn't mean much to a lot of collectors unless they get distribution rights over here, otherwise it's still next to impossible to get their stuff. So they don't do any mixed media correct? It's all fully sculpted? I don't think they've ever done face sculpts of actors before either.

I was hoping if they got U.S. distribution they might show up, but I have a feeling it will still only be Asia/Pacific. No one at XM is commenting on that yet. Their stuff is all fully sculpted so far. Some collectors love that, but I really loved the mixed media outfits from SS. Its probably my favorite part of them. I would almost venture to say that the Hoth Han Solo might be the closest yet. Of course everyone's opinion is different, I've seen people calling the new HT Luke sculpt off and I think it looks basically spot on.

By the way, I'm surprised we haven't seen Lou in here commenting on the XM announcement yet!

For some reason Harrison Ford's likeness is difficult to capture, even the Hot Toys figure coming out doesn't look that great. Well those are the two franchises that Disney doesn't have the movie rights to and I'm guessing XM got licensing through Disney. But XM is making the characters based off the comics so I'm not sure how it all works.

It sucks that all the Marvel movie universe isn't under the same company...Hugh Jackman and Robert Downey Jr. would have been cool to see together.

I did! Agreed, the likeness is the most amazing Luke I've seen. I'm sticking to my guns though, and holding off until HT does some TFA stuff.

Nice! Yeah, flank, flat, or skirt will work. I've been adding a tablespoon of low sodium soy sauce as it cooks, and also use a soy-orange sauce (tablespoon) after I've served it up in a bowl. So good!

I haven't watched it in a couple months, but everytime I do see it, it still has that huge emotional impact. My "Batman Fan" daughter also liked Shannon's performance as Zod, and that was a big highlight for her. No one actor stood out for me. It was all just so good!
