Oh nice. You'll have to let me know how Civil War is if you get to it, I was thinking about checking that out eventually.

Frank Miller's run is excellent so far. The interaction between him and Bullseye has been the highlight.

I definitely will. I've been out of comics for so long that there are tons of super popular and important ones that I missed that I've got to catch up on. I just took a quick glance at Kingdom Come and from the few images I've seen all I can say is "wow!" about Alex Ross's artwork.

I read from SSAlex today that she doesn't believe XM will be able to distribute to America. I'm not really shocked about this, but I'm sure not happy about it. Be prepared for $2K Star Wars statues in the aftermarket at least.

I definitely will. I've been out of comics for so long that there are tons of super popular and important ones that I missed that I've got to catch up on. I just took a quick glance at Kingdom Come and from the few images I've seen all I can say is "wow!" about Alex Ross's artwork.

Yeah his artwork is ridiculously amazing. Usually he only does covers so an entire story of his art is awesome to look at. Are you more of a DC or Marvel guy? Or straight up Batman Not sure what all you've missed, but the new 52 Batman has been pretty good. I also enjoyed HUSH and Batman: Year One, otherwise I don't read much Batman.

I kind of figured on the XM news, that's why you should switch to Hot Toys! I am a little bummed though because I know I'll probably have to drop $1K to ever get Daredevil. Sigh.

Hmm... I don't really know which one I'd pick between DC and Marvel. As far as the movies go I'd say I'm definitely a Marvel guy as of late. To me they are more entertaining. As far as the comic characters themselves go I think I'd be pretty split down the middle. You already know how much I love Batman . Hush is my all-time favorite comic with The Killing Joke right behind it. I also thought Miller's Year One was pretty good. But as far as Batman goes my all-time favorite interpretation of the character would actually be the Arkham games. I like Supes too but its been so long since I've bought single issue comics I think the last Supes comic I bought was actually the one where he debuted the blue and white lightning bolt costume. Man that was like 20 years ago LOL. I haven't read any of the New 52 ones of any character but I've heard a lot of mixed reactions with them from the fans. I think I might actually pick up a Suicide Squad TPB before the movie comes out just so I have something to compare it too. With Marvel I think I'd say the X-Men are my favorite characters. I still like Spidey too but not as much as when I was younger. I'm really happy that Sony is letting Disney use Spidey now in their upcoming movies and I'm hoping once Fox gets through their planned X-Men movies in the next couple of years they do the same thing. Did you hear that they cast Jon Barthel from The Walking Dead to play The Punisher in Daredevil season 2? That should be pretty freaking awesome!

There definitely is a possibility that I could switch over to HT with the SW stuff. XM will surely be out of my price range without US distribution rights. It seems SS has just hit a slump as far as SW PFs go. I just also read that the teased Jango Fett PF will not be making it to SDCC either. SS is really putting all their focus into DC and Marvel. I still prefer PFs over sixth scale stuff just because of their size presence. So I'm still really torn about what to do. I might just slowly collect my favorite SW characters in PF form off of eBay if I have spare cash.

I was going to ask if you had seen that XM Daredevil. I just saw some painted pics and holy **** that thing looks so freaking amazing!

Darkhawk is definitely a character I'm not familiar with. But I'm always down with bringing in new characters so the more the merrier. I'd agree about the DD unmasked portrait on the XM statue. I'd have to say human likeness's, both comic characters and real actors, are not their strong suit. The masked head looks great though.

Oh man if I were you I would never sell them! But I do really love SW, and I could understand if you want to build up your DC collection instead, or switch over to sixth scale SW stuff instead as they are cheaper and will take up less room. I've got quite a few SW PFs on my my wishlist. I want Vader, Boba, Jedi Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, Obi-Wan, the Droids, Stormtrooper, The Emperor, Dooku and Anakin. That seems like a lot LOL! The only SW PF I have is Maul. But someday I will flip most of my other Maul stuff and move onto more SW characters but I'm not in a rush right now to do that. I'm still waiting to see if they add all the chest/belt lights to the new ROTJ Vader, if they do that will probably be the first one I get. I might also get the new Boba because that looks fantastic. After that I think I'd put Jedi and Sith characters as my top priorities. And then there is still the new trilogy and spinoffs. After I see what all is shown at SDCC I can better get an idea on what I might go after later this year. At these new prices I could really only swing about 3 PFs per year .

Oh my dear lord! So much awesomeness! No, hadn't seen this until just now. I am waiting to get my PS4 to see if they come out with a special SW one, but I am getting one just for this game alone. Nice to see the jump ala Advanced Warfare in the game. Love that there are so many options like ground assault, vehicles, ships, etc. Just awesome! Thanks for posting that man. Now I can drive my family mad with these new videos instead of playing TFA teasers over and over, LMAO!

SS for me is the best at making SW statues. I'm always find new details in the statues as I watch them from my lounger. The downside of SS is their returns and CS dept. More turns than anything, but seem alot are losing faith in this manufacturer for high-end SW stuff. I won't hold my breath for anything new from them by the time SDCC '15 or even '16. I do hope that now with HT and XM doing 1/4 stuff, we won't be as hungry when SS finally decides to give us new product.

There is definitely nothing wrong with playing the PS3 still. That thing still has great graphics and a much better game library than PS4. I still play my PS3 more often. I asked Alex on SF if SS has the rights to make Ep. VII stuff, more importantly PFs, and this is what she said:

She's definitely not supposed to say anything. But at least she said they should have some stuff coming. I have a feeling HT will be the first one out the door with a TFA item, but I don't think its going to be quarter scale. From what I've heard XM may be making very dynamic SW pieces similar to the Mythos line. I don't know if thats true or not but that would be freaking sweet!

I've decided I'm going to sell off all my comic Batman stuff and get SW PFs instead . Prices have gone up enough on the sold out DC stuff in the aftermarket to a point where if I flipped it I could put a really nice dent into a SW PF collection. I really like Batman as you know, but not as much as SW so thats a no-brainer for me. Should have done that from the start. I will still buy any Burton Batman statues that come out as thats my favorite take on the characters, but that is it. Limiting to that will really help give me more funds for SW characters. I kicked around the idea of doing HTs instead of PFs but then I remembered I bought a Medi sixth scale Anakin and flipped it within a week because it was just too small from me to want to collect at that scale. To me they just don't have the "wow" factor that the huge PFs have.

I'm waiting for the inevitable episode where Vader will kill her. They will definitely heavily build the story up to that point, hopefully she'll be around for a few seasons at least. Same goes with Vader, I remember Filoni saying if they used Vader they would really limit how much he'd be in it.
