That 4K blu-ray player is a bit steeper than I thought it would be. I remember when 4K first came out they only had the 4K player that would download movies and that thing was a grand. They originally thought 4K wouldn't even be available on disc but that changed quickly. I still really love 3D (I'm one of the few lol) but even though it didn't quite pan out to be the massive thing all these studios were predicting, I'm still glad almost all of the recent Marvel and DC movies are out in 3D.

I'm not really that sad about selling them. With their big bases I just couldn't display them with doors how I wanted, and I love the SW characters more anyways. I do miss my Harley PF a little though lol.

If I get a helmet it will either be Vader or Boba. For some reason the Master Replicas Boba helmet is my all-time favorite replica helmet anyone has ever made. EFX supposedly has one coming out but they are the worst ever. I complain a lot about SS not being able to deliver on time, but EFX is so much worse. I think Anovos was going to make a Boba too but no sign of that one either. If neither I might go with EFX's ANH Vader that they have out now.

Nice pickup! I just realized, is that coming out next week already?

Those Muppets look so amazing! MR and EFX really create some of the most screen accurate stuff out there, but they often screw something up that makes them lose licenses and go out of business. EFX is run by some of the same guys from MR so its probably only a matter of time before they go out of business too.

I'm stoked for Civil War. I thought Civil War and The Winter Soldier were 2 of Marvel's best movies.

Did you see the pics of the Wolverine and Hulk dio today? Its $650, I think going by today's SS prices thats a pretty good deal for a dio that big. Not only am I considering it right now, but its actually moved to the top of my want list from SS. I don't have any Marvel statues and I think that would be a really awesome one to get.

Those are all solid MCU movies. I just really loved GotG, I'm a big fan of the space stuff. That's why I love the Green Lantern Corps. Plus I like Chris Pratt from Parks and Rec.

The price on the Dio is really whats baiting me to get it as much as or maybe even more than the piece itself. If I get it I absolutely would never display the EX head so I'll wait for an even better deal on a Reg.

Impatiently waiting for XM to set up their Star Wars stuff! They put out their price list, I'm not sure how they come up with these prices. Punisher and Ghost Rider (who both come on motorcycles) are the same price as Boba Fett at $728.52. Punisher has an ES of only 800, he's going to be a pain to get a hold of. Wish I had a contact in Singapore!

Right now my anger level is off the chart. After all of this time waiting we still have to wait some more. I just knew they were going to pull this! I want to see the Vader Dio so badly, and Maul as well. I also read that Grievous has more pieces than any XM piece to date.

Mysterio is a pretty awesome character and probably my second favorite piece from the show. I was a big Spidey fan as a kid, but not as much as an adult. The Quicksilver is so freaking cool! I had to do a double and triple take because I swear that thing looked like it was zooming by. Thats what SS needs to do with the Flash when they get to him, plus have it surrounded by a lightning effect. I'm also really, really impressed with Cable. I don't have much interest in the character but I think the statue is badass!

I think its knowing the amount of time I'm going to have to commit to watching a season or the entire series that puts me off of watching shows sometimes. And then when I watch a bunch in a row I sometimes get a little sick of it, even if its great, and then I don't end up coming back to it for awhile if at all.

LMAO! I probably do! I'm really fine with 8 or 12 Ep seasons like Daredevil, but when I binge watch the 20 or so Ep seasons consecutively thats when I start getting burned out. I watched all of the first 3 or 4 seasons of the Walking Dead within a month or so and that just burned me out on that show. I'll come back to it someday but I don't know when.

They totally will do a Captain Morgan pose with Flash. I'm getting so tired of SS's poses today.

I don't get that policy either. Makes no sense to me, they have to reveal them sooner or later anyways so they might as well just do it now.

As for grievous, back when SS made theirs, it was priced $200 above other PF's. My guess is the complexity of it that warrants a higher price tag. And, XM is probably doing something very dynamic with it. Out of that list, I'll be getting Vader, Maul, and Grievous.

Got my copy of Civil War yesterday, and had some time after midnight to watch it. As tired as I was, I stayed up the whole movie. It was amazing! Just loved it! Was happy to see Grillo back also.

Sorry I haven't been in alot this week. High school volleyball just started this week for my kid, and I'm super busy with that and other things. Finally have some free time tomorrow, and I'm taking a group ride to the beach. Can't wait to clear my head with a good ride (that's what she said, lol!)

So I missed this on forums yesterday, but they actually increased the price on Grievous to $1500 USD before markup. He's definitely a very detailed character, I hope this will be worth it.

This is what I've seen posted so far about the XM stuff:

Hey guys. Here's what Inthink of the sculpts.
The Grievous is just HUGE. I'd say about the same size as a life size Yoda? And whether you get it or not really depends more on space.
The Vader three piece has an awesome Anakin and Little Ani but the Vader I think underwhelms. Might just swap that out for the SS one.
The Maul piece is the best of the new pieces. Very dynamic up in mid air pose.
The Dagobah Yoda and Luke and XWing Luke works if you're a Luke fan I guess.

I want to see these so bad, but I have a feeling we'll be waiting another year before we get to see them. The one thing I know is from now on when STGCC is coming up I won't be getting my hopes up to see any SW stuff.

I forgot to talk about the sculpts when you brought it up the other day. The Luke likeness will either make or break the statue for sure. Maybe SS gets a pass for their really old Luke pieces because they were the only ones in the game back then, but today the face sculpt has to be perfect. The face sculpts on some of XM's comic stuff is their weakest area IMO. Some are okay, but I think some don't even match SS's stuff. XM's dynamicness (not sure if thats a word lol) is what really sets their pieces ahead of the competition. But if the statue is based on a real person it can be as dynamic as it wants, if the face sculpt sucks the statue won't be that great. I still really love the Jedi Luke PF's face sculpt. The flesh tone isn't that great though. Thats another thing that I think a lot of statue companies need to improve on. They should get someone from HT over there and have them teach them how to paint flesh tones, and if they can't do that on Polystone, they should change the heads on their pieces to a material that can be painted that way.

Yeah I am looking forward to seeing the Luke likeness. I have a feeling it's going to look very cartoony. So it sounds like Maul is jumping off his speeder bike, not sure what to think of that.

I just saw Prime 1 is making a 1:3 scale Jim Lee Superman statue. I might as well just give them my savings account number.

There is no winning with cars. You can buy a new car but then you have car payments, or you can keep your old car and then you have repair bills. It sucks either way.

I saw the Jim Lee Supes thread over at the Freaks board. Jim Lee is probably my favorite comic book artist of all-time.I figured there would be a good chance you might get this. I know they are doing a Jim Lee Batman too. I'm hoping they are doing statue versions of his matching comic covers:

That would be the most epic comic display of all-time.

I'm really afraid that XM's face sculpts might end up cartoony too. I did hear the Luke/Yoda statue is going to be Luke doing a hand stand with Yoda up on top of his foot and I heard the Luke in pilot gear is actually from the Snowspeeder but it sounds like people were kind of underwhelmed with that one. The Maul sounds like it will be pretty extreme, and Grievous's base sounds like its going to be gigantic and its supposed to have that giant wheeled thing he was riding around on Utapau on it. We probably won't see pics of any of this stuff for at least another year.
