"Apparently, something is wrong with the extended cut disc. Something with the audio.

warner has finally set up their free replacement disc program for the defect in the German audio with the extended cut.it seems that you don't have to send the original disc to get the revised version.they just need a copy of your receipt.the link here is provided by bluray-disc.de:

I received my copies of Sucker Punch today from Amazon.de and when I opened the package all 3 were unsealed! In fact, there was no plastic inside the box. The box was taped with customs tape, so I'm not sure when it happened. I'm not sure what to do, does anyone have any suggestions?

well,the biggest concern these days would be the condition of the steelbook especially coming from amazon germany.i've heard horror stories when it comes to how these arrive coming from them.to me,it would depend on how mint it is.obviously,it would've been better if they were sealed.but would you take a dented sealed copy or a mint unsealed copy? which do you prefer?

Finally got mine today-as usual crappy cardboard sleeve, but miraculously undamaged. I've received unsealed Steels and Amaray before, Rob. Could be returns, could be quality control. I went all the way up the ladder years ago and was told that some items are deliberately unwrapped to spot check them. I don't advocate whining to get senseless credits, but if there is damage at all, you could ask if they would agree to a partial credit. Really nice Steelbook!

You mean the package was wrapped with tape from US customs? Was there a sticker as well or a printed note inside the package or something like that?

If so, this has happened to me before as well - US Customs unwrapped every steelbook as part of their inspection.

Nothing much you can do in this case, as US Customs & border patrol can do what they want - it's not amazon.de that did it.

Got my copy delivered by UPS cost me $63 total CAD with all the fees but the steelbook came sealed and dent free

Just received an email from amazon.de with this link and a 5€ voucher.

Now i only have to ask amazon if they could send me a second invoice since i threw away my first one after i received my steelbook. I didn´t know that i would need it or that the original Disc was defect. When i buy something from warner i will keep my invoice in the future.
