I will never know Chip, It sucks that yours did mate...but mine are staying sealed...
My otherhalf thinks its a shame as this has such awsome artwork inside, but thats what the data sheet is for, it shows you whats inside, so you dont have to open it...

i wonder if the scratches on the rear are due to the fact that this steelbook has a gloss finish.
my hurt locker australian metalpak has a gloss finish, which has fine surface scratches on the rear, despite having a rear card 'insert' covering it.
just a thought.

Thanks Collector! This is just another reminder of why I love this steelbook so much. The art work is simply astounding!

Steelbook of the Year....

Anyone can take a picture and photoshop it into cover artwork.

However, this one consist of creativity and original artwork....

It makes people who never heard of this movie start to think "is it anime movie?"

And it makes me want to look at every detail of the artwork more...because i didn't realize it until today that there is a S and P in the front cover. Look at the back cover, and I see the train...from the scene...probably favorite scene from the movie...love the slow mo.

Is that a rabbit next to the train? I don't recall seeing a rabbit in the movie...

Mayflower - you NEED to get the art book especially the collector's edition (the one in white) with Zack Synder's autograph. There are only 750 in circulation (yes more limited than this steelbook) but get it if you can, because they are going for over $300 on evilbay!

Oooh, I'd love to have that but I only pony'd up for the cheaper art book. It's still pretty good though.

Oooh, I'd love to have that but I only pony'd up for the cheaper art book. It's still pretty good though.

They had to reprint the "cheaper" version because of the crazy demand on release. In fact, if I remember correctly, the regular version was going for more than the collectible limited edition on Amazon. I wished I had bought more copies then. But the "cheaper" art book is still amazing for all it holds of the art Zack Synder envisioned for SP. By the way, don't buy the regular edition from evilbay, it is still $20+ on Amazon.com

Even though the hardbook is only $20, I would only buy the best of the best of the best releases out there...and that's the limited version It's either the limited edition or none

Wish I knew about the Limited Edition Book earlier but now its a big no for the prices its on ebay.

Looking forward to checking out the book which should be in the Fnac boxset I think.
