I got lucky not too long ago and snagged a perfect copy off eBay for $79 shipped. Needless to say I was thrilled.

It's typically in the $150 range. Honestly though you can find it for around $120 eventually if you're patient. I keep thinking about selling my last copy but it's such a nice steel!!! Thinking about buying a few figurines to put on either side. Thinking amber and blondie

That is a very old advertisement. They're lOng gone. But I will tell you it's an amazing looking steel

If you like Japanese anime, slow-motion action scenes, strange but awesome story lines with strong women characters, then yes it is a must watch. It is my top 3 movies of 2011 and I am NOT a fan of anime movies. Go figure.

Oh, and one more thing, watch the extended edition. It has better story flow and extra back story.

I really enjoyed it too. Worth the watch for sure. I bought the CA version steel book for watching. My sdcc stays sealed lol. And I got a digital copy off the CA release. Bonus for the iPad

Right you are ASH.....dark movie with alot of action & symbolism.
If you are a fan of Zack Snyder (Watchmen; 300; Dawn of the Dead) it is required viewing.
You will enjoy it.

This is still one of my favorite steels. I opened one for display and keep one sealed.

Seriously this is still my favorite steelbook and second favorite movie in the past 2-3 years. It probably has hit the ceiling in terms of its value mainly because it is a G1 steelbook but darn it, the artwork is superb all across the board.
