Even though its a G1 its the best release and best looking release ever created for this title hands down :scat:
I have owned one and it took pride on my shelf till I got skint and needed money quick :(

Sorry to hear about that my friend. Did something similar last year with my ps3 steels ( a la mirrors edge )
Ye I love the look of it, will no doubt have this on display if I get it.
Thanks for the heads up guys :)

Can Anybody recommend if this version is worth buying?? :)

Absolutely worth it if you can afford it these days. In my opinion, it is a art masterpiece. They simply don't PRINT steelbooks like this anymore. Note the colors, not just the primary colors but the various shading and intricate transitions - you can see it in the pictures in the original post. Plus the beautiful hi-gloss finish and artwork.

As for me, the movie is simply brilliant. Look past the critiques and digging deeper, you will find a story about survival, empowerment, family, love and a straight to the heart criticism of the sex discrimination in the movie industry.

Must own.

Nail and head! The film is a greatly underappreciated modern masterpiece.

I highly agree. Everyone I know doesn't get why I admire it so much. So underrated. It's not in my top 20 movies or even top 30 for that matter but I can watch the hell out of it over and over and find something new every time. My wife loves it too, we've watched it about 6 times since release.

whats a fair price for this these days ?

Sealed copies always float in and around the USD 100 mark. Dunno if I'd call that fair but that's what they seems to fetch. Just like the Play.com Iron Man, I fall into the category as the chump who'd prob pay the ridiculous asking price too :( Even though it's g1 I really need this in my collection

Where do you see this selling for $100?

Everywhere I've seen was $120+ (usually $150+). Albeit, I haven't checked on here.

This Steelbook is also in my "Hall of Fame". Very beautiful artwork - I like the alternate drawn one and wish, there'll be more like this in the future for some releases.

It looks very nice, but I was never into this edition because it's a G1. Somehow I now got hooked up and I will definitely be chasing it
