The art is just downright unpleasant imo, like I get that it's probably a dated movie but emphasising that with a design that looks like the nightmare that was late-90s/early-2000s fashion just ain't that great an idea.

Doesn't help that I, and maybe a few other people, have no idea what this movie is. I mostly try not to spend lots of money on steels for movies I haven't seen, especially if they're expensive catalogue titles. Is it a cult title? Is it a really well-known and amazing comedy that's somehow passed me by? we just don't know

Folks... it hasn't even been live for 24 hours. There are some limited Play.com steels that have been around what seems like forever. We are in the midst of a steelbook mania right now with a new release announced every 42 seconds.

This will surely sell out, but it just might take longer than 1 day.

In your opinion it is other people have other tastes . Just count your self lucky that a film you love and there's a steel for it and you don't have to go through eBay and pay over the odds

People love comedies, they just don't sell that well in steelbook form. Especially at this high of a price. Its a fact.

Also many people pointed out from the very start that they hated the artwork. Mostly people not familiar with the movie. If you want to sell 2,000 steelbooks in under 12 hours you will need to also attract buyers that arent die hard fans of the movie. Which means you need attractive artwork. This is not the case with this steelbook. Just read most the posts and the low number of thanks at the top. Its not outrageous to assume this one will be around a while.

Not a single copy of this from scalpers on eBay yet, I think they've learnt from previous mistakes regarding limited print runs.

I'm surprised it hasn't sold out yet. The artwork for it isn't "perfect" for the movie but it's pretty decent and it's the original poster artwork. The film is a classic from the 90's. I'm sure there are plenty like me that consider the movie a gem. So a sell-out of a low print run seems like a given. Maybe it will end up taking a week or two but I'd guess it will sell out still.

This is true, but people seem to love buying horror steelbooks even if the film is sub-par, and even if the film's only real significance is having a lead actress with magnificent breasts.

This is one of my fave films ever, so watched it again last night and i gotta say (even though a lot of this was guerilla film making on the fly) so many shots are rushed and out of focus, members of the public looking right at the camera/film crew..... this movie just doesn't lend itself to the blu-ray format.

Also, the artwork is uninspiring, same art as used on the VHS back in day, and even back then fans wondered why the lead character Mike wasn't front and centre instead of his sidekick.

So all in all, even though i love this movie to bits, gonna pass.

Its not really what about what movie its is!! It all depends on the artwork if it has crap artwork like swingers for the good movie it is it won't sell out as fast cause the artwork is terrible!! The Texas Chainsaw had far better artwork even though the movie was crap!!

Just the way things work people are turned off by terrible artwork but will by one with amazing artwork whether or not if its a crap movie!!

But how can you give up lovely Alexandra Daddario thats why it sold out quicker with the bonus of the artwork!! HAHA

Well i would say some people do and some people don't as many collectors keep things sealed and if they like the movie sometimes even buy two just to have one sealed!!
