I can't believe I never noticed it was spelt 'Judgment' (I suppose that is the actual title of the film, but it's something I've never realised before), that's going to annoy me now :hilarious:

The border/text issue is a little annoying too. I have to say it looks a little underwhelming. Maybe this release has been hyped so much that it was never going to live up to it.

Be cool if the eyes glowed like on T2 Skull ed :scat: I think they may have added the boarder to differentiate it even further from UK ed (though it has plenty of other goodies for me to have tempted me into clicking the 'order' button, haha!

If that looks as good as it does in person as it does the photo this may be my new king of steels for the shelf. Very nice. Can't wait for #2 exclusive news.

I'm really hitting the bank recently with all these great releases.

this also seems to be a bit darker than the play.com one, right ? i hated the play.com release, but somehow really like this, although kimchi didnt really change a lot.. weird!

Looks matte to me like the play.com Terminator, I could be wrong though

I hope so, I really do.

Retailors should opt for a glossy finish, rather than a debossed border. Actually, I feel the whole debossed border has lost its appeal.

You can never go wrong with a glossy finish. Why?
First, a glossy finish makes the colors on a steel shimmer. Where as a matte finish the colors are dull, boring, and even poor (paint chips). Also, the art tends to look livelier and refreshing.
Second, a solid glossy finish will not chip as easily. Members have reported receiving Commando and Black Swan with paint chips.

At this point, I'm starting to think a gloss finish is more expensive than a debossed border.

It seems like a trend all new steelbooks with embossed artworks have the frame debossed. I heard it is the way to protect steelbooks during the shipping.

You might be right about a glossy finish being more expensive but if that's the case I know that I would not mind paying a bit more to get it done right and I'm pretty confident in saying that many others feel the same way. If the title is done the right way I'm more than willing on paying few extra $$$ if it means a title being release the "right way" just my opinion.

I definitely prefer a glossed steel over a debossed border steel. To me glossed steels tend to feel sturdier, heavier and more chunky, whereas those without feel a little more flimsy, but that might just be more being picky.

Has there been any debossed bordered gloss steels??

War of the Worlds is one that has a gloss finish & embossed border. Plus the Mission Impossible steels 1-3 of the top of my head, to name a few...;)

Argo, The Town...UK etc

Big list and way too many to mention hear....

I'm confused, hasn't every embossed steelbook ever made had a border?

Thor, Iron Man, Captain America etc. are all glossy, Jack Reacher recently. It will be some list to list them all I imagine
