All kidding aside, I hope this movie turns out to be a solid movie and a comeback for Arnold.

"This past week, James Cameron was present for a 30th Anniversary screening of sci-fi thriller The Terminator, which will be getting another reboot/sequel next summer in the form of Terminator Genisys. Though Cameron isn't directly involved with the film, he did reveal to Deadline that he gave the film's producer, David Ellison, an idea on how to utilize the now 67-year-old Arnold Schwarzenegger.

"I pointed out that the outer covering (of the Terminator) was actually not synthetic, that it was organic and therefore could age," Cameron revealed, echoing a statement Schwarzenegger said back in March. "You could theoretically have a Terminator that was sent back in time, missed his target, and ended up just kind of living on in society. Because he is a learning computer and has a brain as a central processor, he could actually become more human as he went along without getting discovered."
@bloodsnake007 @ocielz LOL You guys are Awesome! This made my day!

Entertainment Weekly magazine has done a cover story on the upcoming "Terminator Genisys" which offers two collectible magazine covers.

Those covers don't fill me with any confidence at all if I'm being honest..... aside from Arnie of course and Byung-hun Lee the rest of them I dunno...... and from what I've heard is true -
In this alternate time line Sarah Connor was orphaned at 9 years old and raised by the 'Elder' Terminator.... and she calls him 'Pops'!!!! FML!!!
This is either going to be extremely extremely clever and very well done, or it's going to be completely terrible

And I'm fearing the worst!

Fool me once T3
Fool me twice T4
Fool me three times Terminator - Sarah Connor Chronicles
Fool me fourth time? Terminator Genesys.

I do have a feeling that what they are putting together will be something quite special. They're obviously taking a leaf out of JJ Star Trek reboot which I though was spectacular

My only fear is that Arnold's involvement will be only an extended cameo.

But it has to be better than Terminator Salvation right???

When audiences worldwide saw T1 for the first time, they were terrified.
When they saw T2, they were blown away.
Unfortunately everything that followed was sub par.
Sarah Connor Chronicles had some potential but it was a little campy at times and became too philosophical in the second season which is what probably led to its demise.
Time travel doesn't make a movie good. its the unexpected and the turning the tables that make it work.

All of these stupid promo shots of Sarah Connor, Kyle Reese, John Connor and whoever Matt Smith is playing are ridiculously terrible IMO and I'm simply amazed that Arnie hasn't been featured anywhere

I dunno, I don't think so. I still think he'll be one of the main cast but I feel they're holding him back a bit to make it more of a surprise when we watch the movie.

You will have to excuse my fears, Cooey. The truth of the matter is that Cameron is not involved and everyone's attempt after his departure proved ill fated.

It's not that I don't trust the talent out there. But trying to use Robert Orci's Star Trek methodology is a first sign of repeat formula among the genres.

Is it an assumption? Well based on what they have given us, yes. So I might be wrong. In fact, I hope I am.

Don't get me wrong mate I'm with you. I hate all the casting choices so far apart from Arnie and Byung-hun Lee and I do think this should've been the first movie that Arnie should've made as his 'comeback'.

However, the whole BTTF 2 angle it appears to be taking intrigues the hell out of me and I like the fact that Cameron has come on board to say that theoretically the outer skin of the T-800 would age, which has allowed Arnie to come back as The Terminator. It's like I said previously, it's gonna completely blow my mind and be amazingly clever, or it's gonna be an absolute pile of dog crap. However, it can't be as bad as Salvation but I know it'll be nowhere near as good as T1 or T2, that's obvious. If it can be on par with T3 then I'll be happy. Of course I'm going to be biased as it's Arnie and I do think he'll be playing a larger role than what we think.

I am fed up of bloody Hollywood movie companies toning down every film into PG-13.

Terminator, Mad Max (which is criminal), Robocop.....

These films were so brilliant because it pushed the boundaries and gave you a real sense of chaos and you can't do that with a PG-13.
