I opened one (pictured on left), and you can definitely tell it's a chip. But since it's under the shrink-wrap, it has to be a production issue. Actually, for anyone who opened theirs, take a look at it when you open it up. Where the plastic meets the metal, it's chipped all the way around. Not too noticeable, but definitely there.

I caved and picked one up. I didn't buy any art this year at this show I go to so I had a few extra $, but one of mine has the same type of chip but in a different spot the other looks good

I noticed while in store that both the slipcover editions are fat enough that they fit the steelbook edition.

also i noticed the 27.99 price tag was for the other edition an dnot the steelbook .... so mine cost 34.99

Price has gone up. Sold mine for a loss on ebay. That's okay. The rest are gonna be put away as the value of this one is gonna rise all through holiday shopping season if it sells out. There were none at both Best Buys I shop at. All sold out.

My friend was in Chicago, asked him to help me to pick up a copy and he told me he scouted a few Best buy and they are all out. Lucky I still have my backup plan. LOL.

Looks like they took the sale down in store and online. And the best bet to secure a copy at this point is online even though the sale is over.

Yes very powerfull colors. If you wanna feel the suite, you better get the slipcover too. High class.

ok well i did it in store, so I didnt take it all the way off and try in case some employee thought i was trying to do something shady ... So i just tested it a little to see if it would fit and it did.

I could have picked up a few copies of this but I'm not a fan of $34.99 price tag for steels in the USA to be honest. I mean Play is releasing them for $17-20ish. Maybe I shoud have grabbed some extras for trade but didnt want to sit on $100's worth of this steel without knowing the print run qty. (as I dont know) Of course if it is in fact a low # then its def worth picking up a few more

so anyways, yeah I opened mine so I could fit a slip on mine then too possibly.
