Chip did you receive your steels of this already? Were they all damaged?

I got two in the mail in envelopes and both are dented.

I sure hope Prometheus has a slip to hide the ugly Blu-ray logo on the bottom right side.

To me the best steel that works naked is The Evil Dead. It shows the whole arm coming out of the ground instead of the slip hiding it on the U.K. release.

In my opinion the only good UK slip is Ghostbusters, the others just don't blend nicely with the steel art. Oh wait, Terminator is also good.

This really makes me worry about the other future releases. Why would they just decide to stop suddenly. Or why pick and choose which get slips? It adds uniqueness to it. COME ON JAPAN wake up!

Yep. Starting to get turned off by the lazy Japan releases. The A-Team, Unstoppable, Narnia, and Knight and Day looked awesome. Now they pull this crap. Oh well. Not putting my money on Japan anymore.

I will still buy the odd one, but not like before. Why set yourself up to be disappointed?

The only thing I would suggest to people with these Japanese releases is keep an eye on stock levels, and if a title isn't moving very fast (like Spidey), then just don't pre-order it. There'll be plenty of time later on to decide whether you want it or not.

I don't mind as much a lack of slip if it's at least going to be a very small print run and very rare, but no slip and a large run AND a hefty price tag make this one a total fail IMO.
