Wow got some bad/good news at BestBuy today. The guy that stocks the shelves said that The Avengers is gonna be pulled soon. I say bad cuz they are not gonna give us a chance to buy it at a lower price. And good cuz now maybe the current owners stock will go up lol

Im guessing you are talking about the lenticular box set ... this is thread for briefcase set.

In any case, my guess is they may not be marking them down because they will sell them off to 3rd party ... they may start appearing in FYE for example.

haha nah someone moved my post and laz's here since it was in the briefcase thread.


Some items in the past of Best Buys have shown up at other etailers such as buy.com inet and FYE stores. It would def be nice if they just clearanced in store as then it'd be easier obtainable for us collectors who have our eyes on them.

news nugget: last thing to show up in FYE was the Burlesque best buy coreset edition ... public (mom's) went nuts and BB recalled all on release day and then sold off stock to FYE .... FYE removed the best buy sticker and sold.

On the other hand, this gift set says Best Buy Exclusive on the packaging .... does that maen they woul take off that first cardboard layer then reshrink and sale? Possibly ...

Lot of work tho just to resell ... hopefully they mark down. Might all just go to warehouse and sell off of bestbuy.com
