i was going to go to midnight opening and pick this up, but changed my mind at last minute. decided to kick back and play Firefall PC beta lol

now, i went to BB this afternoon and guess what, they had like 15 copies out on display.

i will say this, i changed my mind, after giving it a good look over, decided it was not worth the extra $40 to me.

Regular Blu Ray price = $29.99
Collectors Edition = $69.99

from what i could ascertain, just for a $30 gift card for Sideshow collectibles?
They should have omitted that card and dropped price to $39.99
How many people going to actually use that card? I can tell you, thats a lot of $30 gift cards not gonna be used at all, and Best Buy comes out the definete winner/ benifactor cause most likely Sideshow collectibles cut some kind of deal lol

I agree with you.. I bought two copies! One to open and the other to keep sealed... I'm sure there's a bunch of people that bought several and won't even open them! A lot of wasted gift cards

Just got back from my store to pick up my BD to fill my empty viva case, and noticed that like only 1 of around 15-20 of these were gone. Guess it is not that popular in my area.

I had this in my hand but then I realized the value inside isn't worth what I have to pay for it.

Will never use the $30 gift card and rest of stuff isn't a must for me.

So for me, I be paying $27 more for the 3d amaray on top of regular price which is $37.99. Didn't buy the box.

Also the gift cards can only be used on certain eligible GC items at sideshow. AND whatever you purchase has to be more than the GC value or the GC wont work. I know from past experiences. The $10 gc's from metal box are much more worthless than a $30.

The $30 card would be best used on an artbook or sorts. (if you are looking for a cheap item that is)

DC Comics Year by Year for $50
and Pixar Pedia book for $40

When I went to pick my regular copy up at 6 they probably still had at least 15 left on the table. It certainly seemed like bestbuy had plenty of avengers copies of all sorts and target not so many.
