@AlienKing The only double-pack that's been released so far has been the François Ozon one and in all honesty, I don't think there's much of a difference besides it probably being a little cheaper as a bundle. Can someone explain to me the way this collection works? Are they numbered on the spine? There seems to be quite a few releases with the Blu Collection logo on the top of the spine...but what all is part of it? Mr. Nobody seems to be number 03...which they've had way more than 3 releases so far. Do only certain films get numbered? Doesn't seem too consistent.

Yup, that's the one. There's a thread for it here. Now you don't have to pay millions for the out of print US edition (which is better than the UK release I think).

I've been meaning to watch the live action one since it's pretty much the only other film by Nobuhiko Obayashi you can easily find with English subtitles apart from HOUSE. Also, I'm one of the apparently silly and uncultured people who really likes HOUSE.

Whiplash has been officially announced as a Kimchidvd exclusive SteelBook, so I changed that info. Also added the Predestination SteelBook as well as Digipacks for The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and The Castle of Cagliostro.

I was planning on getting this one as I loved the artwork so much and the Kimchi Exclusive but @psychoscot for me it is the same, I have this and Cinderella... will knowing Kimchi releases it make you cancel this version ? I really like this artwork and the kimchi one will be different, they are doing it with something called ''The Blu Collection'' apparently someone thought they would release it by themselves(The Blu Collection), never heard of them before though. This is confusing.

The Blu Collection sometimes makes Kimchidvd exclusive steel books. However, they also make their own releases as well, which are part of a numbered collection. Similar to Plain Archive, Nova Media, Criterion Collection, etc.

Memento and Eternal Sunshine are the only steelbooks they've done for Kimchi.

Their numbered releases are plastic keep case, not steelbooks. Most recent was Mr. Nobody, which comes out in 2 more days.

thank you for the info, yes when I went digging I saw that they were onlyBlu-ray slipcover... so I guess their paring with Kimchi is when we will get a steelbook release
