Seeing the FS inside artwork if it is the same it should not be more than $9.99 on release day like the BB Warner wave

I hardly think these are WB Best Buy quality steels that are being re-re-re-released  They look embossed with proper quality finish (at-least it appear so) and there not recycled artwork of the past of any kind. There 1st release artwork steels so I think the $16.99 price tag is pretty justified here. Play.com has lots of catalog titles released for £10-11 which is roughly $16-$17 and most people have been happy with the price on those. I dont see why these are any different.

play has inside artwork as well. I am sorry but Access Denied, Classified does not an inside art make to me. I'll agree that these may be better than the warners in quality after I hold them in my hand

I guess you could say the same about the cover and back art on these as well... its pretty standard and generic all across the board like the inside art. Despite all this these are still "new artwork" steelbook releases on titles that have never been released before with embossed titles and hopefully when in hand also have a nice finish to them. Thats heck of a lot more than what can be said for the $10 WB 3x over released steelbooks with no inside art or effort of any kind gone into them other then pressing print at the Scanavo factory. I cant believe I even have to bother justifying the $17 price tag on these, lol. But hey to each there own.

Any update on the release date?

For what its worth all 4 Bourne steels are being released on the 11th of December here in Canada at Future Shop along with Legacy. I would guess the same release date for the USA.

I mean I have them ordered and maybe I will be surprised but I still think a little too much money. I think ET was a bit cheaper first week. But then again why am I arguing with a member whose name is Jason Bourne and expecting anything else :hilarious: :p

And I think according to the target website the first three are set to release 12/11 while Legacy is supposed to be 12/20

LOL... you know I knew that was going to bite my extremely biased self in the rear end eventually! Eh, I know what you mean though it would be damn nice if the studio's started releasing catalog titles at $14.99 or less for all of them. Yah right?! I often find myself looking at catalog title releases at $30, $35, sometimes even $40 scratching my head thinking what kind of crack are studio's smoking but then you see people buying them and I myself will admit have paid those absurd prices for catalog titles once or twice and then I turn into a hypocrite myself, lol. I guess they will keep doing it because they know they can and fans of the movies will just pay. It would be nice though if these 4 Bourne steel's have a semi-gloss or glossy finish to them. It would give them that something extra on top of the embossed title's.

Oh k... interesting note on the Legacy release date in the USA. Here in Canada we have Legacy slated for an 11th release date. So Im not sure now :dunno:

who knows but as adrenaline already has the first one in stock already maybe they will get pushed up?!?

That would make sense because why would they have a different release date then Canada for these in the USA (I mean 99% of the time Canada & USA have the exact same release dates).

You can see here that all 4 of the Bourne steels are listed for an 11th release date at Future Shop (so i would expect all 4 at the same day in the USA):

Bourne Identity

Bourne Supremacy

Bourne Ultimatum

Bourne Legacy

As you see they say 12/20 but they also claim not to be sold in stores either so :dunno:
