Well we keep finding more and more fans, garlad you are just adding to the group. So let's keep all football related content in this thread since we are small group of fans who actually follow we can't make threads that only one person will reply. Anyways Scott, Baliey, Dattebayo and myself all follow pro football. The same people in addition to Bravesfan and jrocca have/play FIFA09.

To answer your question from the other thread, yes I do follow. I don't have a particular team in the EPL, but I enjoy watching the games. However I am liking Liverpool this year, I think if they don't win it now they won't in a long time! they are finally reaching that talent threshold and it's their time! Torres is in a fantastic level and Benitez is having no issues with players so what else can I say? ManU is finally losing grip. Chelsea is a mess I think, they keep buying players and more players that bring a huge ego and that's why the teams is so inconsistent! the egos that team has will not let them find their rhythm. Arsenal has a relatively young team that will only get better and I keep reading everywhere that they might lose Fabregas this next summer....

I used to watch plenty of the Spanish league, but I lost GolTV which used to show all the games every weekend. Fox Sports channel now shows the EPL and the Serie A Italian league which is not bad, but not the same.

Personally, I think Bale would be amazing if he came back. When he left, he was by far the most dangerous player here.
He had a great 1st season at Real but this year he has struggled with injuries and a dip in form.
I'd love to have him at United!

would u swap de gea for bale like some reports are saying? persionally i think he is best gk in premier league , maybe swap for di maria?
i reckon if u could buy him , keep ur players and add hummels and benzima . u would be class , heard a rumor u are in for stones in summer , id be gutted to lose him , but i think he will be world class soon

I think Bale for Degea would be Real Madrid getting heavily short changed, bale was £80m. Degea is max £30m, he's not as good as Casillas anyways in my opinion.

De Gea has saved us so many times this season. In a couple of years, he will be looked at the worlds best.

Stones would be a good addition to any team. Definitely gonna get better and better.

degea is ok but is not world class and any swap would have to be did more than just him, id say we'll swap bale for degea and another £30m, I can't see them being anything as I said their heart is gone. I think Arsenal with a couple extra players will be a forex next season.

That's Real Madrid all over anyone shows a bit of talent and skill and they have to have them, often i think to just stop anyone else from having them. They seem never happy Ronaldo has done everything and they are still moaning about him

The main problem with Bale at RM is the position he plays. He plays as a forward and cannot afford an off game or a stretch with no form for them. All forwards have received the same treatment in the madrid media. Even Ronaldo is not immune to this treatment. The problem is that in many games, Bale seems to disappear. For example, in the last classico, he barely contributed much to the game. He barely touched the ball in the second half.

James plays in the midfield so to some degree is somewhat shielded from the higher expectations of a forward. He has been a good signing for RM ( although they overpaid ). He plays a solid game connecting well with the forwards, scores some but was out for a bit with injuries.

They are awesome. The timidness of the team to go forward made for a tense second half though. Bayern really ratcheted up the pressure.

Now just awaiting another awesome match up tomorrow........sorry Madrid fans....im praying for Juventus

yeah didnt see that coming . well deserved though , madrid fans disrespectful to bale once again , he missed a few chances but most madrid players plad worse than bale tonight and didnt get treated as bad as him

Bale is the flavor at the moment. But in the aftermath of this defeat, more will be under the same scrutiny as well. Ronaldo had barely any contribution to the game other than the penalty and a free kick from the first half. Benzema played a very good game though but obviously not match fit
