After getting this I think I need to get the 3 missing Tarantino films I don't have in steel as they never did US versions (Inglorious Basterds, Reservoir Dogs and Jackie Brown) and maybe a G2 of grindhouse (I have the G1 Best Buy one). The cover saying the 8th film from Tarantino was like well know I need all 8 in steel

Inglorious Basterds Canada release was excellent and I recently picked it up on Amazon for pretty cheap...got a tip right here from a helpful ninja on this great website!!

I am also now looking for all Tarantino on steelbook...for a long time, I was happy with the Tarantino XX box-set which is quite good as well!!

part of the run went to HMV Canada, so I don't think there are any extras to be had.

lol, not even close - the volume for something like this is tiny...I've done 500 copy group buys before.

it's really more a symptom of the fact that the entire run is split among all the best buy stores. so if you were to say 2,000 stores, even with a 10,000 copy run, that doesn't go very far in terms of a per copy allocation, and that's ignoring online orders in that case too...

Some vile scalper has about 10 of these listed on eBay right now. He's making a pretty good profit off of these babies. How he got that many copies is beyond me. I only managed to get 3 of these babies, this guys got me beat by a country mile. But then again, the Canadian HMV version is 10x rare than this U.S BB version. I'd hate to be the guy that's gonna have to pay nearly $100 Cdn for this bad boy lol.
