While I cant announce anything yet ... will keep digging. The skinny is that this is an official artwork choice that was presented even as an option for the USA one. That being said, I'd honestly be surprised if we don't see this art used elsewhere. Of course we all have seen this artwork on many things promoting the film and soundtrack etc.

I could forsee this art on a slipbox. Real question is whether it'll be put on another steelbook in another territory. Wouldnt shock if so ... of course dont want to miss out if this in fact turns out to be only one using the art on steel. But given how strict Tarantino is on choices of art for his films I'd say its just a matter of time before this art is used elsewhere anyways. anyone using stuff that is new and not already been seen is really just being risky.

How does that work @Wreck if a retailer prints a steelbook with artwork unapproved by the studio or director? On a side note, I feel like I've heard somewhere that Tarantino likes steelbooks himself. Has anyone else heard that?

Still not sure what to do with this, I really love that art but I'm really interested in what kimchi do

Looks like it's going to be a double dip don't it

I'll put a pre order in for now

Wreck has cryptically mentioned that things have been sent to his place. Can't remember what thread it was in though

@blu78 trust me, the art has to be approved to be on the steelbook itself as Scanavo wont print. That or they are totally liable. I'm talking about the mom and pop boutique labels who just create slipboxes etc not licensing the art. One email and they can get in hot water! c&d's big time.

I've sent 10's of steels on behalf of QT and crew. I just think QT is more about quality then cases and art overall tho. But he seems to like steels, yes. I would love to see his collection. I've heard it might even be in contention to biggest ever ... rumors that is, but still im curious.

I would love it if he has all his movie collection (not just steels) in the style of a video rental shop like where he used to work. Would be quality
