While talking to one of the licensee here in Singapore, he told me we are going to have Hobbit here as well in Steelbook.
Not sure if I hear wrongly but look like it's gonna happens.

ah shucks, I assumed the 3D version was going to be a lenticular steelbook. Still looks pretty darn sick.

It looks like Bilbo is glossy and maybe Gandalf too and rest is Matte finish on full slipcover. I like it alot.

Wow. The back on the 3D Steelbook doesn't even match the front. The person responsible should be sent back to school. Is the 3D Steelbook glossy (looks like it based on the back)?

Looks like they just swapped the front of the 2D steel with the Gandalf art and marketed it as the 3d version.

Looks like I need to purchase these Steels after knowing it is done properly instead of pre-ordering as it looks awkward. Back and the front doesn't match at all.

The slip cover for the 2D Steel is Identical to the slip you get with the 2D US amaray version, available on amazon which is the 2D version I will open.
But obviously that will not fit over a steelbook and the SG Version will have some extra treatment done to it.

My Singapore girls will be keeping their clothes on!!!

After seeing the complete fail of the KR version with no slip at all. Then Singapore is the winner for me.

I've personally saw the actual packaging while I was there at the factory seeing them packing the Steelbook with the customized slip. Perhaps I should show how it looks with all the stickers on it.

Sadly, I'll be on my business trip soon and be back only on 3 or 4th April.
I've passed the photos to my friends and asked them to help to post as I'm all tight up now.

To be honest, I am not desperately after this Steelbook. It is now a buyer's market out there. The value of the Asian and German Steels in general are plummeting. Loads of Steelbooks produced and plenty of options avaialble. To me, the Golden days are far behind us. I am perferctly happy with the Indian Steelbook as I believe the case will be 100% identical to the other releases. Of course I will be disappointed if the Indian Steelbook is missing something.

Thanks for verifying, as I said. This is a special arrangement, you won't find them any other places.
True that the 2d slip is identical to the amaray slip, but look at the amaray slip again. Do you think the normal amaray slip are able to fit into a Steelbook?
They specially make the slip for my order for the 2d and its gonna be factory sealed with the slip. Embossed with spot printing and limited to less than 100pcs, just think of the extra cost for printing the slip.
I'm glad I'm able to pull this off as I told them if you don't print this slip for me, you are not gonna move even 10pcs. Lol.
