While talking to one of the licensee here in Singapore, he told me we are going to have Hobbit here as well in Steelbook.
Not sure if I hear wrongly but look like it's gonna happens.

Hi guys, I would like to make an announcement. An official one.

I would need to Apologise for those who ordered the 2d with full slip.
The director of the supplier had stop the printing of the special slip which specially arrange for this my order. As in IP law states, the embossed 2d slip was approved for amaray market purpose only. No slip for 2d Steelbook was approved so far. Hence we have to stop the slip printing and I'm not able to fulfill the full slip with embossed fit into the 2d Steelbook.
But a new quarter slip like the 3d steelbook will be printed to compensate the full slip.
We are still in negotiation stated and I hope everyone on the 2d list bare with me for a while while I'll try to work out something for those in the list.
I'll be going back to Singapore and cut short my business trip to resolve this.
I hope everyone on the 2d list would understand my position and I'll update everyone as soon as I have new development.

How about for the lettering a color to match the steelbook, like gold or the shade of blue like on the cover?

I think the 2D is a bit greenish so a matching green color text will look nice.

These things happen Alex, it's understandable

Like blumaster and blackberry say perhaps there is the opportunity for a different colour option on the lettering or slip for the 2D version? I'm not sure how much that plays a part in your negotiations but hopefully it's fairly straightforward for you. tbh even if it's the same I wouldn't complain as the 3D one looks pretty sweet

I think at least Alex will make sure it has a brilliant slip like the 3D version, and that will still make me happy. As these two versions of The Hobbit will still be unique and the ones to have.

Already ordered the US amaray with full slip so not that bothered really !!!
