there are two steels
the 3d trilogy steel with 12 discs and
a 2d trilogy steel with 6 discs

i dont know why but someone deleted the 2d thread
can i know why ?

I don't like the individual steels for the Hobbit films so I could be interested in a trilogy release with English text.

It's Warner so it WILL happen... the only question is WHEN...
My guess is that this spring we'll have the regular edition... then in Autumn the Extended ed., then next year the start of big combo sets...

Does anyone knows if this will be sold by amazon by any chance? I have seen it only listed over at CEDE and the 3D is just INSANE, more than 150€
The 2D was less than 90. I have to imagine amazon would do better (and it'd be more internationally friendly, of course). I would skip the 3D if that meant a better price, I only want the 3D with the extneded anyways lol
