This is a pile of crap, I got a bad disc won't play at all, can't redeem my digital copy because I am in the US, can't return it because I am in the US. Had a paint chip under the cardboard insert.

One of the worst released steelbooks ever.

I don't know if I would say that, many digital copies do not work anywhere except their intended country, and not being able to return it is expected with a Future Shop release if you are outside Canada.

I can understand your frustration on the other points though, the paint did have numerous issues on Hunger Games steels, and a bad disc is just horrible luck for you

How would you like a brand new car if you bought it and then got home and realized it had tons of scratches and the paint was all messed up, the engine did not work and the cd/radio player that came in won't work anywhere except in another country and they wouldn't let you return it.

Would you not call that a horrible purchase and a horrible release.

Well I would never buy a car without inspecting it first, but that is beside the point lol

More in regards to a steelbook situation though, when I buy a UK Play release for example, I know when I buy it that the digital copy & DVD will not work, and I know that if it has an issue I cannot return it. Those are the risks/consequences of importing.

Yes, the paint is a widespread, documented issue. But a faulty disc is not.

That is why I suggested that it is not one of the worst steelbook ever, there is steelbooks with far worse artwork and including a far worse film then this one, even with its paint chips

And I do own this steelbook, and my copy does have both a scratch and a dent

I had only had this problem with the digital copy once before and that was for a UK MI4 and I was ok with it because the dvd and bluray played just fine. All the other digital copies from Canada have worked (Lorax, Hop, Harry Potter 7, John Carter, Prince of Persia) and again it wouldn't be that big of a deal with Hunger Games if my actual bluray played but I got screwed on being able to watch any version of the film with this release.

Sad , but the Studio is to blame not FS , they (FS) provide us with some awsome steels :oohyeah:
