With the right finish, this could be nice!!
Would of preferred a more 'traditional' design, akin to official artwork, but I think I like this. And I'm really glad it's not the washing machine design- really not a fan!
Wonder what the back/inside artwork will be....
I'm hoping so as well but the likes of the Good Dinosaur and Moana are proof they don't always release all the Pixar films

Ugh. Some Disney designer is probably walking around really pleased with their clever retro concept as well.
Not bad .. kind of Matt Ferguson but low rent without the talent and skills.
On the one hand, a pleasing design looking good in those dark to pale oranges - typical for these films - w/ the silhouette artwork also not unfamiliar … on the other hand, looking inferior to the US release which will more than likely have some interesting 'bossing to the washing machine.
On first sight got a matte and flat vibe … hopefully totally wrong vibe as this artwork could look v nice in gloss (like the US steelbook) and the positioning of same could still allow for de-bossing of the characters.
Should swap 'em around though as this one will go so much better with the first film's steelbook release in the US than the washing machine
We may be getting some old school Disney Classics steelbooks (MEET THE ROBINSONS stands out in particular) … unfortunately the same can't be said for the new school Disney Pixar steelbooks which don't compare favourably to previous Pixar releases including INSIDE OUT, THE INCREDIBLES, FINDING NEMO, CARS 1,2 & 3, A BUG'S LIFE, BRAVE and even RATATOUILLE …

I placed an order, then saw the revised artwork...
And cancelled.
I'll wait until someone releases a decent steelbook, or do without.
