Yeah, getting True Lies on blu ray would be a good start hah. I didn't think I would be getting FAC Sabotage, but might consider that again after getting this release.

Yeah the 4k transfer is done for The Abyss but not for True Lies. The extras were done a few years ago now with Arnie, Jamie Lee Curtis, Tom Arnold etc. At least it looks like T2 may be getting a new transfer for the upcoming 3D re release next month in China.

For me, it's not about the movie. It's the total packaging. If I wanted just the movie then the US amaray will do.

So I saw your comment, and it made me ponder about FA's pricing when I saw that The Last Stand is 699 CZK, so since I had nothing better to do, I took a look at FilmArena's pricing with the actual content inside their FAC editions.

Disclaimer: When I say "cards" I mean poster cards, character cards, 3D cards, etc., and I didn't bother to write if there were 6, 8 or 10 of them… not just to show my disdain for such 'goodies' , but because that really shouldn't influence the pricing.

And despite all your efforts in trying to crack this code the answer was there in front of your eyes.

This will sky rocket in value as previous customers of FA that purchased from Karel were asked whether they wanted a copy via a lottery system. So not all collectors will have the opportunity to buy one. Which in turn means out of the collectors that didn't get the chance to buy (some of whom are bound to be hardcore completionists) will pay top dollar for it in the second hand market. Thus making this product more of an investment once purchased.

Limited editions are always worth more. It's a universal rule that applies to anything that is collectible not just steelbooks. Over the years the number out in circulation will keep reducing. With only a handful remaining pristine / sealed.

Ofcourse you're right And every time i buy something limited i always tell myself "you should keep this sealed..." Right before i rip off the seal I'm sure i'm not the only one

This release is aimed at loyal FAC collectors...The Steelbook is a beauty and not some old recycled tat...

I think you missed the point of this specific release ... It's a gift to lucky FAC collectors (even though we are paying for it). 500 print run. Invited to join the GB via PM. It's worth A LOT to Film Arena completionists some of whom may never get their hands on a copy.

It is a nice Steelbook but the whole 'loyalty reward' thing is nothing more than a gimmick to shift some old stock.
