That all depends when the American version is released

I think all the books on zavvi is region B if not all, but I sense this is not a big issue... as checking region is a software thing for blurays..

Even though zavvi state that there region 2 The majority are region free its only a rare few that aren't.

because the UK isnt getting the 3D release. We're having to import from US

Maybe sales of 3D TV's in the UK are low and thats the reason why zavvi keeps to 2d steelbooks as they'll sell better. I only own one 3D steelbook and thats the preorder for the normal ES edition of star trek into darkness as its an incredible steel. On here it seems like everyone owns a 3D TV as we love movies and we think they are worth the money yet I can not afford one.

I think you may be right, Matthew. When I still live there the market for 3D technology was very small. Even showing 3D movies at the cinema was limited. I only bought one recently because for the size and brand TV I wanted it was cheaper to just get a TV that enabled 3D. I think I only own 2 3D titles (1 I won and the other I preferred the art) so it wasn't intentional.
