The thing with all the bonus guff is that most people WANT it rather than NEED it. That's why it doesn't fuss me as I hardly ever watch any bonus content, making ofs and especially commentaries.

Some of us do. I specifically look for the release with the most features so that I can enjoy them.

I wouldn't worry. Seems many people have used the code so if that were to happen, hundreds would be cancelled, so they will have to be put back up at some point and all would just order again.

I preorder stuff all the time using codes and this has NEVER happened to me.

EDIT: The release date is now saying 30th of September. What is going on?!

That's disappointing. You mean we've got a three month wait between Aladdin and our next fix of Disney goodness? After 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' and then 'Finding Nemo' I can't wait to get my hands on Aladdin and anything else they care to release. The quality is amazing, even more so considering that before Roger Rabbit, Disney were known for releasing terrible Steelbooks in the UK. From Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Cars 2, to this. What a transformation! :scat:

I'm not surprised. August seemed too early considering JB came up for pre-order at the same time, and that isn't out til Sept. Wouldn't be surprised to see JB get put back 2 weeks now.

I think all this really needs is the highest of gloss finishes and deboss the title. However, maybe they could emboss Ariel too and go all out like they have with Nemo/Roger Rabbit? Not sure how it would look myself but would be interesting.

Agree . I'm even up for embossed air bubbles!

How did the Aladdin steelbook sell out so fast, while it was a re-release in new packaging, and this and Jungle Book are still available? This is the first time they're on blu-ray and probably even more popular than Aladdin?! :S

I'd say Aladdin and TLM are on the same level of popularity. Jungle Book a little lower. FYI, Aladdin went on sale a while ago, not at the same time :)

No one knows the print run this one could be double triple or more and the price off course.

Yep. Aladdin went on sale about 6 weeks ago and sold out in about 2 days. I missed it as I was on holiday at the time. Oh well

Aladdin is not a re-release. It's brand new on blu ray for 2013 and has never been available on blu ray anywhere, and won't be available in the US on blu ray for quite a while still.
