So, we have the "Fake" and "Steelbook Price Drop" thread, but we don't yet have the thread where you post listings with "crazy" prices for Steelbooks. If you see any, post them here and have fun debating. As per forum rules, please remain respectful with each other-one person's "high price", could be another's "deal of a lifetime" score. Enjoy! :scat:

Please keep discussion to Ebay and other retailers, not private sellers.

ot has nthn to do with the previous but ok hahaha

people can anyone help post number 2410...no body replied to me :(:(:(

I'm not aware of this seller, but if you have any concerns then I recommend dropping a courtesy email to request it's packaged well and if they have an extra pic of it to put your mind at rest. Assuming you didn't bid on a banana I guess you should be ok

That's a bent steelbook btw, not an actual banana. Although if you did bid on an actual banana then you're **** out of luck too! :p

No, I haven't heard of the seller, but I noticed it last night too, a few rare steels going for quite low prices. I am becoming more and more sceptical of ebay nowadays. With HDN members whom I have dealt with previously, I don't even have second thoughts of sending $300-400 worth of steels blind before receiving anything. That's the beauty of trust.

But sometimes you find a four-leaf clover and win the auction almost the same price as the retail.

I dont see the point in name calling for someone trying to make money.
The name calling should be pointed at those that buy at those inflated prices.

if someone manages to make thousands on selling a product at inflated prices, all the more power to them I say. It is the buyer that chooses to buy.

I understand your point of view, but when a seller deliberately set a price a couple of 100% over the list price in order to trick someone that the product is more rare then it is...that is foul play for me.

It´s ok to earn money...but selling a 16 GBP steel for 135 GBP on "pre order" from Zavi (Batman Begins). That´s just wrong IMHO.

At least get the argument right - he is selling all 3 of the releases for 135 not just 1.
