So, we have the "Fake" and "Steelbook Price Drop" thread, but we don't yet have the thread where you post listings with "crazy" prices for Steelbooks. If you see any, post them here and have fun debating. As per forum rules, please remain respectful with each other-one person's "high price", could be another's "deal of a lifetime" score. Enjoy! :scat:

Please keep discussion to Ebay and other retailers, not private sellers.

Good for him! :) 10% Final Value Fee is not deducted from the shipping costs. So its the 4-5% paypal fees that he will lose on the total. A cheeky way of selling without incurring costly fees and sometimes misleading as well :naughty:

I didn't think that was the case for a couple of years, I've been charged based on the shipping fees too.

Shipping does not count towards the Final Value Fee. I know because I haven't been charged since I been selling and I see the break down of fees. That is why in Asia a lot of sellers sell items for say a few dollars with the shipping at $30 for example so the Final Value fees are less. The only fee is paypal fees. If you want more information PM me your email address and I will show you an invoice breaking the fees in due course.

Wow, every version of CA seems to go for good money! Is this a good, fair or bad price for the TW version? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281099009986?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

I think thats pretty low for the TW version. The steel doesn't even looked sealed!

I think I know who the seller is :naughty:

An actual error steelbook is one thing (upside down spine or something) but packaged backwards, really? $899!?

I have a copy of The Incredibles Future Shop with upside down spine. Based on the original price or Serenity, I should list my copy of The Incredibles for $2999.99 :hilarious:

I have a packaged backwards Transformers from Play. Think I'll be generous and list it for half this guys price :hilarious:

How generous of you :joy:

Some people on Ebay just fish...and they read the forums and follow what people perceive as 'rare'...don't get roped into it :hilarious: Be careful out there :scat:
